"We Remember Everything" Final Chapter Sunday June 28th · 5:08pm Jun 25th, 2015

I hope those who are caught up and reading it will enjoy our final chapter this coming Sunday. Two years of hard work have brought us to this point, and I look forward to ending the tale of our two reformed villains Loki and Luna. Hearing from you all then would mean the world to me, since it's been awful quiet recently despite an increase in readership.

When I started writing it was just going to be a oneshot of about 10,000-13,000 words. Then I realized I couldn't fit everything I wanted (what would become the first arc of the story) in one chapter, so I made it about a dozen. Then, with the support of my readers, I realized it could carry on from there directly into "Avengers", only for "Thor: The Dark World" to come out and give me even more inspiration. With this in mind I sat down and thought out where I wanted the story to go, and I realized what I wanted to do with it after some good, long thought.

If I had to change anything about the story, it would be that I would have included Trixie sooner rather than think of her two plotline revisions in. I would like to possibly include her in a future revision by having Loki encounter her when he's still in the woods at the start of the story, but that was done in Rorschach in Equestria and I'd hate to be accused of copying it like that. My next regret is not knowing of Luna's pet Tiberius until it was too late to really include him, as it would have been nice to have him. More Thor scenes would also be nice, but I was always trying to balance how much I used him against how much time Celestia got.

In the end though, I am happy with how it all turned out. A plotline I have spent 60 chapters building up has come to a close now, and I look forward to our bittersweet ending I have promised since the start. There will be epilogue chapters of dubious continuity, up to readers to decide about concerning that, but the main story is coming to a close.

People asked me around chapter 30 if I was evil enough to kill characters off...I didn't do it then, but don't expect things to be all happy. But don't expect them to be fully depressing either. There will be a balance, as any sad story ought to have. There will be plenty of heartwarming things to come, I promise. And remember, I've introduced how death in not so final in this universe, so don't give up hope just yet.

In all, thank you to everyone who has supported the story and helped it get to where it is. I hope you join me for our finale, and I hope to hear from you all then. It was wildly depressing to not hear from anyone last time, and I just hope you can all do me this favor this one last time.

Sincerely,
Thunderscourge

Reading list for the weekend confirmed then.

Will be good to see how you wrap this up even though other than the epilog the story will end.

Congrats on getting to this point, however it ends I hope you are happy with the results

My time had been busy, but I want to read the rest of the chapters since I stopped. I will try to use the weekend to read the whole story again!

3181709 Glad I'll be giving you something to do on your weekend, though it will likely be at the end of it

I have a main epilogue that wraps it all up, and then further epilogue chapters planned which are just nice fluff of sorts that are kind of non-canon, others are just basically cut scenes I couldn't fit in the main story due to how they'd disrupt the flow or mood, and some are just further explorations of characters I wrote way back to better understand them (such as a Siren-centric bit I wrote way back, right after their movie came out).

I am happy with the results, though it is kind of sad having it come to an end. I think it'd be easier if I still had my old commenters who have been with me for over a year now, but they all have scattered and it feels kind of lonely at the end of the journey they helped on without them.

Thank you for your support, and I do hope you enjoy the final chapter when it is finished.

3182089 Well I do hope that when you catch up you will be both happy and surprised  Depending on where you stopped, there's a whole lot in store for you!

It'd be great if you read the whole story again this weekend! It'll make some of the final chapters make a whole lot more sense when you have a story's worth of foreshadowing still in your mind.

Hope you enjoy, and thanks for coming back!
