Okay, so it is the night before I leave for Houston, and with that, Fiesta Equestria. This is going to be the first time I've gone to all three days of a convention, so hopefully it will go well. Tomorrow, my friends and I will meet some other buddies like V-Pony and his girlfriend PinelopeCushion!
So as of right now, everything is packed, and I'm just sitting here, writing a blog post about my thoughts.
Really, what I'm looking forward to is simply the convention scene again. It's been a while since I've gotten the full con experience, and this will definitely feel great. Three days full of fandom madness? What could be better?!
Yet, I am also looking forward to simply socializing and entertaining people. As you all know, my thing at conventions is going around and playing the saxophone for people's enjoyment. I like seeing people genuinely smile and laugh because of what I do. It'll be loads of fun.
There is also going to be a formal dance, in the form of a Gala. I'm hoping that I can talk to some con staff guys and see if I can perform a nice slow song for people to dance to, which will be my slow Babs Seed cover.
Hopefully it'll be a yes. If it isn't, oh well. I'll still get to have fun at the actual dance!
On the other hand, I will also meet some people that I haven't seen in a while, like my good friend DoTheDaringDew and I believe Neil or DrawPonies will be there. I can't wait to see the both of them!
Well, that's just about all I've got for tonight. I'll write up more blogs and updates when I get there!
