Where can I get in-depth OC analysis/feedback · 6:17am Jun 24th, 2015
I have a LOT of OC's.
Some of them are mainly used for RP's only. A few others I've given actual fics to. But I'd like to know how I can get in-depth analysis on my characters. Whether one of my followers would be willing to look at a few, or maybe one of you knows a group that can help me with this, I don't really know. I'm mainly looking for very thorough analysis and not just "It's good." Don't get me wrong, I always love the compliments, but I'm also an aspiring writer, so I'd like to know what I'm doing right and what I'm doing wrong.
Ponies like Timber seem to get a lot of analysis from readers. They're always saying how they keep guessing about what he's going to do next since he's so unpredictable and wild, and how much they like the mother/son bond with Rarity. I like that stuff that explains WHY he's well liked. Gear Gizmo's another example since he's very relateable to a lot of people in the fandom, and they feel sorry for him.
And finally, I have Professor Critter...for some reason, the only feedback I get on him is how much people want him to have sex with Rarity...weird.
But there are other OC's I have that I don't think get as much attention or actual analysis. Banana Nut is a very big example of this, which is kind of a shame since whenever I write for him or RP, he really cracks me up. That's probably due to the fact though that he hasn't had as much exposure as some of my other OC's.
Another OC I don't get too much analysis is Moxxy. She's without a doubt, the most evil character I have...
This is coming from someone that has a draconequus OC that wants to painfully rip off ponies' horns and wings, and a spirit of temptation that uses her hypnotism and her looks to prey on the weak-minded and make them do terrible things in her name.
Moxxy however, is just my guilty pleasure. The sort of pony I love to hate...That or I'm just a glutton for punishment.
Anyway, the point is, can someone give me major feedback on some of these OC's, or point me to somewhere where I can obtain some? Not stuff just like "Oh, he/she's cool" but WHY or WHAT is good about him/her?
TL;DR- I'm desperate for opinions. 
I dont even know what to say to that. how do you come up with such a fucked up character........ I am never reading the story this character is involved in.
3176796 Lucky for you he's RP only and doesn't have a story then.
I'd go into every fucked up reason as to why he does this, but the basis of it is that he was an Earth Pony before and felt mistreated by the unicorns and pegasi, making him jealous of their ability.
Trust me I don't like em either. Just remember because one of my characters does a thing, doesn't mean I approve at ALL. (This is really mainly true only with characters that have irrational personalities or are just downright evil.)
