It's with a heavy heart that I must report that famed film composer James Horner died as the sole occupant in a plane crash yesterday. He's known for composing the scores of An American Tail, Apollo 13, Titanic, Avatar, and many, many more films. He was one of my favorite composers.
Maybe I would have found out on Facebook's Trending Topics sidebar, but I disabled it with a Chrome Extension because I'm so fucking sick of those articles. Facebook, where everyone's a fucking expert on the latest shooting, the latest political scandal, or some fucking flag. It's almost as bad as watching the news, so I'm done. Facebook is pure again, solely for updates from family and friends.
Rest in peace, Mr. Horner.
