Chapter 10 is going to be late. Sorry. · 2:48am Jun 23rd, 2015
So if you've been following me for a while (or can observe patterns), you'll probably be a little concerned to see that there is no new EE chapter. I've made a point to stick very hard to a schedule, because I, as a writer, need to produce and you, as my readers, deserve regular content.
Unfortunately, I screwed up this month. Plain and simple. It isn't much of an excuse, but I started a new job this month after a year unemployment and I kinda underestimated how lazy it would make me when I got home. So, basically, I spent a lot of the last month playing League of Legends in the evening to wind down, and only getting a few hundred words written here and there, and next thing I know? My deadline is here. Oh, and of course, I'm too stupid at this point to be ahead and have a buffer chapter or two to post (I really need to make this happen - only just hitting deadline every month is actually kinda hard on me and I think it is negatively impacting my writing).
So, what is the deal at the moment?
I've got 1 (maybe 2) scenes left to write. I've got my pre-readers starting in. I will have the chapter to you guys before the end of the month.
Thanks everyone and sorry again. Hopefully you all are looking forward to it!
I know the feel of starting a new job after not working for a year. Creeper World and single player games for me to unwind.
Meh better few days extra to be sure you are satisfied with it is the preferred course ofc. Altho LoL to wind down? When I play that it generally increases my stress, but then again I suppose swearing and shaking your fist at failing junglers and support can be a good way to vent.
I understand sometimes life gives you crud writing wise (story of my life there to want to write and nothing appearing)
Life happens, and this is something enjoyed, i hope in the writing, and for us in reading. So take as long as you need to make things look good to you. When it updates, it updates. And we'll enjoying just as much then.
3172924 oooh, such an addictive game. Gah, so many wasted hours of screaming raging fun when things go horribly wrong.
It happens to the best of us. Don't worry about it; your readers will be eagerly waiting for you!
