Introduction to the Logbook
Starting tomorrow, and whenever I put a chapter up, I will try my best to put up logbook entries for the things that happen in each chapter. What is the logbook, you ask, Mystery-voice-in-my-head? Well, in the Metroid series, specifically the spin-off Prime, you have the ability to scan various creatures, tech, and data entries, and record them into your log for later reading. That is what these blogs are going to do: Provide further information on the alternate world in which FO:E Darkest of Tides is set. However, I will try not to make it so you have to read these in order to understand the story proper. It's meant as a bit of insight into Samus' mind as she begins to understand the world, as I am also writing Samus' notes along with the data. It will have no bearing on the main story, as I'm sure you don't need to know how far the range of the Flash Sparkle is, but it will try to better immerse you into the story.
Also included are author notes on certain characters and tidbits of information.
Before I get into the book itself, let me give a little insight into what created the story. The story began as an idea that my older brother had mainly because I kinda did something he wasn't expecting. You see, he was doing an RP based around a group of five girls being trapped around the multiverse, and I was playing three characters on a role playing website. Those three were Samus, Luna, and Mario(Odd combination, I know.) Luna was the focus of one story, and Mario was the focus of another. Samus was given the job of bringing these characters back together. My brother was only going to have Samus make small cameos, but I however decided to continue with her. This lead to my brother immediately coming up with a story set in the Fallout: Equestria universe, or at least an alternate version of it. He thought it was just going to be short, but we ended up going longer than expected. It didn't help that I decided to remove Samus' armor, leading to her having to go on a long journey while waiting to get it back. This was done to balance her out because her suit's kinda OP in a Fallout setting. We're still doing the RP, but there's now enough material that I can probably keep a bi-weekly chapter uploading schedule(Don't be upset if I miss it, I do get busy sometimes.) You can learn more about it by checking upmy brother's account.
One more thing:You are actually getting a different version than our RP. Most of the first part was lost, so I have to do things from memory for the most part, but I am also doing some major change ups such as adding scenarios and some more consistency with characters. I'll let you know when something's different, to the best of my ability.
Hey, co-author here. I just want to add, I'll probably drop by the story once in a while to do what I usually do with my own fics (My fans know). I'll probably drop some extra tidbits, some deleted ideas I had for different scenes, and such.
Bi-weekly? Oh, I hope you know what you are doing.

Bro, when do I ever know what I'm doing...?

Never. This is why I am the idea man, and you...are the guy who edits and hopes for the best.

You're the idea man!? Who came up with{This transmission has been interrupted due to too many spoilers.}
And that's why I loved Make Friends and Keep Discord!... What were we talking about again?
