I'm well aware that Friendship is Escape Velocity has stalled, this close to the end. There are two reasons.
The first is my - well, not so much magnum opus as magnum o' piss - the ill-conceived Elder Scrolls IV/Harry Potter/Fallout 3 sprinkles crossover Magic, as Opposed to Magic. I have about one canon-compliant chapter to go, maybe one more after that, and finally a peevish epilogue in much the same vein as George Bernard Shaw's epilogue (or was it an afterword?) to Pygmalion. I have grown, like all authors, to loathe this idiot work and will be glad to turn my back on it once and for all.
The second is the prequel to that - it's Elder Scrolls IV/Fallout 3 The Chronicles of Ra'jirra: The Wasteland Affair. If you've read MaOtM, you know what's going to happen. I have one chapter and the other half of the epilogue to go. To which I also say "thank fuck."
Then I'll work out how to get the Mane Six past all those feral ghouls and meeting J. Bright & Co. Ltd. After that, we'll find out (sorta) what pulled Twilight & Co. Ltd. here, and how they escape from it, and where Haversack Joe was buried.
Basically, once I can get shot of these two cursed manuscripts, I can do something more useful.
