Hello, Vessel here, and I just want to say that I F***ING HATE MY COMPUTER.
Seriously, the first time that I was attempting to write this, my computer just decided to bullsh** me and blue-screen out. In addition to that, my "Closure" ending that had been unsaved was a victim of being lost in the process as well as the blog. Had it not been for the "emergency save feature", I would just take my computer and hurl it out the window. -_- Why, computer, must you troll me? Why must you f*** my mouth? Why?
Anyway, what I was trying to say before the technological trolling.
As you know, "My Yellow Diary" is an attempt at a deconstruction fic as well as the very first. Seeing the positive response that it's received, I've decided to continue this particular thread of deconstruction. I plan to create a fic for each of the Mane 6, featuring a certain aspect from the fanbase and the canon universe that will be deconstructed. Be forewarned, though: Because of their element, all of these pieces will contain a much darker and edgier feel to them. With nightmarish elements that are barely kept to the T rating and from the M rating, this is certainly not for the faint of heart. So be prepared to grab some tissues and even a little bit of brain bleach before proceeding to read.
The stories are listed below:
Transcendence: Twilight Sparkle wakes up in the middle of the Everfree Forest without any memory as to what happened before hand. Dazed, confused, and without the company of her friends, she attempts to find a way back to Ponyville. But in the process, she ends up embarking on a horrific journey ripped straight from the book of surreal horror. Is this some sort of dream? Or is this a memory from long ago?
Wings for Mother: Quiet and reserved. Has a tendency to get frustrated when events deviate negatively from expectations. The ability to subdue and control the most dangerous of creatures. We may not know it, but Fluttershy has the capability of becoming one of the most dangerous threats to Equestria since Discord. This story will take a stroll down that path with a cane in hand, an upbeat walk, and some fancy music.

It turns out that AB fell through the cracks of the system. Her parents didn't give her up for adoption willingly (coercion perhaps?) and been looking for her. They finally reach Sweet Apple Acres on the night of AB's suicide... before anypony yet knows she's killed herself.
... I gave myself chills just writing that little description... what a delightful shock scene that would be! AJ leading AB's parents up to her room only to find...

Hmm... I'm thinking, maybe, that considering her hammer Cutie Mark, her parents are low-wage working class ponies (which would help explain why it took so long for them to find her), so as such, AB's dad is easily taken advantage of. When he injures himself and is unable to finish a job by the contracted time, he's all but forced to give up his newborn daughter (as a slave) to buy himself time lest they end up on the streets. When AB's dad's boss decides AB is more trouble than she's worth, she's given up for adoption (the "crack" being that this isn't questioned because of an imperfect "dumpster foal prevention" system for abandoned foals). As an added kick, you could have AB's dad be fired anyway when she's abandoned.
