Weekly Update: Information Overload Version · 3:21pm Jun 7th, 2015

Hello again everyone! Another week means another update. Wooo!

So, some good news from real life to start out. I got to go on a two hour trail ride with my mom yesterday and it was amazing! Sooo relaxing, and the best trail place you could ask for. It was amazingly relaxing to get out into the country and ride up and down some really awesome hills on a tall horse. Mine was like 16.4 hands, just the right height for a woman with long legs like myself. Let's just say, I know what's on my wishlist when I go horse/mule shopping. [Squeees]

Anyway, that's helped me relax some and not stress as much, so I hope I can keep the positivity ball rolling for the next few days at least.

As for stories, you've probably noticed I've been posting random blog posts. Like, a lot . . . Sorry about that. It's kind of been part of my strategy to help lower my stress and thereby improve my health and attitude. I wanted to just have fun for a few days, so I played around with some goofy stuff and wrote up some flash fiction to go with them. Finally took the time to draw up and play around with my Rainbow Dash OTP, so I was super happy about that. Now that I've had a few days of R & R, I'm hoping to finish the next Good Company chapter today or tomorrow.

One note before I get to story specifics. The woman I'm commissioning the cover art for Lesson One from (CosmicAlicorn) is having some serious financial/health problems and is looking to take more commissions. She's a high quality artist at a VERY reasonable price! I ~~stalk~~ watch a lot of artists on deviantart, and I have to say, as far as value for your money, she's up there on the top tier. The nice thing about her is that she'll do both traditional unicorn and regular mlp styles as well as AMAZING dragons/chimeras. Here's her journal with commission prices and whatnot. Alright. Story specifics. As it stands this week, I'll be working on Good Company as much as I can. My writing inspiration has been flighty lately, and I apologize for bouncing around like a ping pong ball. So, if I can, I will write up some more Good Company. When I can't work on that, I'll be working on my TrenderDash short! It's not really going to be romantic (think A Dog Gone Crazy Day and What They Can't See). If the ship sounds interesting, I'd love it if you'd join my TrenderDash group.

Last bit of news. I've been really getting into my art lately. Like, a lot. With my stress the way it's been, I really enjoy the break from trying to pound out chapters. So, I really want to take requests. I know it's kind of egotistical of me, but it makes me sooo happy that someone would want me to draw a picture for them. I can do either MLP or my own, realistic style. I might not be the best, but I'd love to draw something for you, maybe a scene, an OC, or shipping thing . . . I've improved a lot (at least I think I have) since last time.
