i dont actually know. things are weird. i have picked up a new hobby in painting miniatures. I have lost a lot and gained a lot and it does things. I am cancer free two years but also have nodules under surveillance to see if they grow meaning that its back.
Sorry it has been so long. Recovering and such, no brain mets but no answers. Some psych issues and cancer REALLY messes with you. As such trying to do a story about cancer to work through it was probably not that bright.
I tried but there will be no updates this week. Between computer and internet issues, dr appt and trip to LA that took three full days, visiting family in hospital, side effect last week where i could not use my left hand. It has been fun. Barely made it back home with that fire in LA on the route i needed. And got another tube removed after 15 months.
Ok. I need a variety of prompts for another contest. Dont give me that look. I just preside and do what must be done. But I have absolutely no ideas for prompts to ask a bunch of college kids to write about ponies. So... PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!! scootangelscootangel
-Something a friend of mine used to call "Reverse Crack-shipping." Take a ship --- the zanier the better --- and write about how it falls apart. Can be comedy, can be slice of life, can be tragedy; all depends on the author's approach.
-Doing a simple chore should not involve moving heaven and earth. Write about a chore or mundane task that took disproportionate effort to complete. Bonus points if it doesn't involve
-Growing up is a time of changes, laughter, heartache, and maturation, not to mention ammunition for parents to embarrass their kid when he/she finally grows up. Write a story about a character growing up, or reminiscing about growing up.
3128399 Kinda. Never heard of the reverse crack ship. That sounds awesome. Those are good bases to start from. Those sound like lots of fun, the second one really applies to writers
The first prompt is: Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom get into an argument about who has the better sister. That one people heard and just wanted to run with.
