Just a short update. · 1:46am Jul 20th, 2012
I was just about to post a rant about the poor quality of the stories on here, when I realized that my own stories are quite probably amongst the ones I ought to be criticizing. Oh well.
Anyways, nothing new for Greener Pastures. Didn't feel like writing it. Sorry.
I'm also not sure about that chapter 2 for A Queen's Farewell, simply because I don't know what I would want to happen. The story really was meant as a way for me to present one of my ideas about Chrysalis' past, and nothing more.
When Harmony Reigns, however, has been doing well. I'm just about ready to wrap up chapter 3, and thanks to Ludwikia (no, seriously, thanks), the editing is now up to date. I quote from my user page:
"We'll see what happens in the future, I suppose. Really liking this one so far; much better than GP." -Ludwikia VK.
I, for one, couldn't be happier to hear that. I love getting positive feedback on the idea for When Harmony Reigns, probably because it features an alicorn OC who's even related to the royal sisters (which is, apparently, frowned upon. I knew that having an alicorn OC is dangerous terrain, but I didn't know that having her be related to the sisters was a problem. Here's hoping that people will look beyond the summary, hmm?)
I've been derping around, for the most part. Staring at a Gdoc, waiting for inspiration to come along. Nothing happened, so I decided to play minecraft. Nothing to do in minecraft, so I decided to check out steam. Nothing interesting in steam, so I... you get the idea. I haven't been very productive.
Tried taking a break, but the same problem surfaced. I don't really have anything else to do. Looks like I'm going to have to find a new hobby, or a new source of inspiration (anybody suggest some music, please?).
Now then, before I go, allow me to share what little music I found that I did enjoy. This song has some amazing vocals.
-Static (I'm going to have to get used to writing Static instead of Scoots, lol).
yep!
better to write than to criticize. Show them how it's done.
