I've been seemingly inactive for about a month now. A lot of this time was spent gaming, as one would expect. A significant part of that time, though, I was trying to quit this stuff. Writing, editing, everything. It's just not for me, really.
BUT, that didn't work. I don't have the resources to keep myself amused without resorting to stuff like this. So, I'm going to try to continue work on chapter 7 of When Harmony Reigns, as I said I would. Some of this idle time HAS been spent planning stuff and attempting different approaches at the scene, but I just couldn't figure out a way to get it to feel... natural, if you catch my drift. There was always something off about the characters' reactions.
Now, as most of you will know, I take criticism very seriously. Too much so, even. I'm going to finish writing When Harmony Reigns, and then just publish a chapter a day or so, just to avoid facing that criticism 'til I'm done writing. Perhaps, if I can delude myself into thinking that I'm producing something worth mentioning, I might be able to stick to an idea long enough to write it.
I don't think I'm going to be making these blog posts a regular thing again, as they seem to annoy most people. They also have an annoying habit of getting ignored. Completely (refer to a previous blog post of mine: "very quick question", which none of you replied to. None).
Music's getting scrapped too. It served no purpose, and no music has inspired me, lately.
Let's see if this approach works for me.
