Yep, pretty much all of it.
It's the episode that I didn't want, but secretly waited for. It was like... having a thorn in your side and being completely content with having it there for the rest of your life, if it meant not having to yank it out. Then someone else comes along, yanks it out for you, says 'you're welcome,' and walks away. You hate that person... but love them at the same time.
We knew it was coming (at least I did). It was excellent plot material just laying around. How the hell could they leave that alone?
On the plus side, damn good episode, imo. I won't really spoil it for you, but if you read this blog's title, you already have some idea. And man, they were thorough. Let me tell you. Halfway through the episode I was holding my breath, hoping they wouldn't obliterate any of my story canon. And... they did. #worthit though. You'll see why. Gilda is an adorable cub!
I'm sure a lot of people will piss a bitch about today's episode, but in the end, I think it was definitely one of the better episodes of this season, and it'll probably wind up as one of my favorites of the entire series.

that's why i don't care about headcanons. if you don't have them, then you won't get mad. and next episode, the one focusing on background ponies, are sure to shatter almost every single one of them.
also, to people who believe that headcanons are more important then official canon, shut the fuck up. you are not entitled to tell the writers how they tell the show. deal with it. if the show doesn't line up with your precious fan-fiction (on that matter, it's fucking fan-fiction, not shakesphere), then use a fucking alternate universe tag instead of throwing a hissy fit.

Dude, just because she is an adorable cub in ONE scene, doesn't mean she would stay that way. Look how she turned out as an adult after all. Again, people putting too much focus on what is and isn't canon, you can write around canon :P
