Below is the basic outline for the revamped version of Iron Mare. Hope you all like it and look forward to the revamped version. Don't worry, though, I'll try and keep as many references to the 2008 film as possible.
Rarity is a billionaire fashion designer. Her parents are alive but distant—she spent most of her life passed from nannies to governesses and finally to boarding school. She has a particularly bad rap with her mom, her dad mostly giving her what she wants to keep her happy. She also has a bad relationship with her younger sister Sweetie Belle who her parents treat with more affection.
After a huge fight with her mom she left for Canterlot and became a megastar. She is kidnapped for ransom and is exposed to a third-world country and is convicted about her frivolous life-style. She is abused daily and starts thinking about the people who live like this every day. When she is ransomed by her family she decides to make a real difference, beside “throwing money” at it. She decides to become Iron Mare and stop all the injustices cold. Sorta of a Lisbeth Salander approach.
Hopefully you like this. Currently I'm maybe, kinda, almost, possibly 1 quarter of the way through writing the re-done first chapter. Sorta. Kinda. Almost. Possibly. Maybe. Most likely. Hopefully. I think.
Hmm, sounds more interesting than the original Iron Man story. I like it. Looking forward to reading it.
