I hate to ask, but I was wondering if anyone could do a quick read of the next story I'm working on?
It's a short (~1400 words) slice-of-life that is set a couple years into the fanon of Derpy adopting Dinky. About 90% of it is just a conversation between Derpy and another pony with an interest in Dinky's well-being. To say more would be to spoil the main thing I'm struggling with: Does the connection with that other pony work as written, or does it ask the audience to suspend too much disbelief?
The other thing I'm unsure about is if this would be E-rated or T-rated. Content-wise, it's as tame as can be. But (again) the connection with the other pony pushes it outside of what the show would usually deal with.
