Rambling, pretentious nonsense about the stories I've written: part 3 · 2:17pm May 16th, 2015
So apparently you guys like how I treat the Apple Family.
(Side note: I love you guys. Seriously.)
This is the last of the three original ideas I had when I first started writing fan fiction. Well, two and a half. I had the FIW fic and the prequel to this one, and midway through writing the prequel i figured out who would be the the father of Apple Bloom. That's why I added the little hints at the end. But as to whether or not I would actually write this one, that depended on the reception I got.
I ended up writing it, clearly.
If I was happy with the first story, you guys blew it out of the water with this one. By the numbers, this story quadrupled my followers (no mean feat when I had all of one follower before), and doubled my views per day average. I even got over a thousand total views! Hooray! Small fish in a big pond!
Sorry for gushing. Story-wise there's a lot of emotions churning around in Apple Bloom's brain-head. She's trying to find her footing after the last story. Once Trixie shows up, the potential background of being a unicorn and how it would affect her friendship with the other Crusaders gets thrown in. Some other things, too. Not all of her issues get resolved by the end of the story, which is a good thing, I think. If all of her problems get solved, how do I go on?
To be honest, I probably (by that I mean definitely) could have had this out sooner, but I was putting off writing AB's little speech to focus on figuring out what would happen in The Changed One. But that's a story for another blog post, one that unfortunately won't be out for a while.
That's about it. See ya.
