Hey, guys. I'm so sorry I haven't posted anything in a few weeks.
I've been in a bit of a drought lately, and it really sucks.

That said the tenth part of the Genetic Research series should be finished in the next few days, followed swiftly by more State of the Ship and The Changed One.

Hey again, just a little update on things.

As you may have noticed, updates have been slowing down across the board. I had originally meant to post the final story in the Genetic Research series and finish up The Changed One by now, but clearly that hasn't happened.

Here's why- I've been finishing up pre-production and starting production on a parody series(original, right?). It's an Equestria Girls thing and it'll be about ten episodes.

So as you know, I posted a new story a couple days ago. Burning Out is the product of a sleepless day (I work nights) and a few hours of writing time. I like it. It's not my favorite story I've ever written, but I still like it.

So The Changed One now has a cover image! Yay!

On a whim I decided to draw Verdant crying. Composition-wise it's not very original, but it's definitely applicable to Verdant's emotions right now.

I'm not that good of an artist, but I kinda like how it turned out. What do you think?

Well, it's been one whole year since I first watched My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and as such, I thought it would be interesting to look back at what I've done so far.

Obviously, I've started writing fan-fiction. That's a sentence I never thought I'd type.
I've found a whole community full of awesome people and artists and storytellers. I'd floundered a bit in trying to be an entertainer, and it would be an understatement to say that you guys have given me hope.

I love music and as I was reflecting on that fact, the idea came to me to give the characters I've created their own themes. So here are some songs that exemplify Verdant.

Stricken- Disturbed
This song, while not exactly a theme of Verdant per se, definitely embodies how some of the other characters view him right now(Twilight, the Doctor). The song speaks of someone who comes into somebody's world and destroys it, which could apply to the transplanted human.
