Hey everyone! I'm going to start out by saying that if you follow me on here I hope that you've taken the time to peruse my other stories, and if you have I truly hope that you have taken the (considerable chunk of) time to look at my first and favorite story, "The Stars of Darkness". Even after 3+ years of writing in the pony universe Stars remains my favorite work for a lot of reasons, and if you like my writing... well, you can at least see where I started. XD
Anyway, the reason I bring this up is because another author here on fimfiction, SpearmintSonnet, has been working with me on a sort of alternate universe story in the Stars canon. Yes, you heard that right- it's an AU of an AU... but sue me, it's was WAY too interesting of a concept to just NOT play with!
If you've read Stars and at least the sequel "The Chronicles of Dark Star", you know that while he destroyed the amulets at the end of Stars, they didn't stay destroyed- they re-materialized somewhere else in the world for other ponies to find. The story "The Corruption of Love" follows the pony who found the Amulet of Hate... and it is none other than the Princess of Love herself.
It's been really fun to work on this story with SpearmintSonnet, even though it started out as just a fun what-if roleplay between us. XD If you like the concepts of the amulets and a lot of the stuff I introduced in Stars, give Corruption a read and enjoy an exciting alternate timeline full of twists and turns and... really sad stuff!
