The Schedule · 4:55am May 9th, 2015
For those who are followers of my works, you should be aware of by now that I am pretty much juggling between three series: I Hate Being In Equestria (which is my most reviled story by a lot of bronies), My Little Pony Toys (which is fairly decent) and The Rainbooms And The Dazzlings (which is my most liked story yet). I know full well how it feels to be a fan of something ongoing but takes a while for the next chapter to come out, so I try my best to make it not so long add an instalment.
I Hate Being In Equestria and My Little Pony Toys isn't so bad because I am only making one chapter each. But for "The Rainbooms And The Dazzlings", it takes 3 chapters to make 1 open-and-shut episode. Usually, I would hold off making something for last story until I made all three parts if a episode. Usually, my schedule would go something like this.
1. Write one chapter for "I Hate Being In Equestria" and publish
2. Write one chapter for "The Rainbooms And The Dazzlings" and don't publish
3. Write one chapter for "My Little Pony Toys" and publish
4. Write one chapter for "The Rainbooms And The Dazzlings" and don't publish
5. Write one chapter for "I Hate Being In Equestria" and publish
6. Write one chapter for "The Rainbooms And The Dazzlings" and publish this long with the previous un-publish chapters.
Before, I could make two chapters in one week. This way, I could release at least one chapter once a week. While I could make a chapter for two stories once every fortnight, I can release an episode for my Equestria Girls story at least once a month.
Up until now, I have doing that method and it has been going well so far. However, a few things has changed.
The biggest changed is what would be going on in my life. Trying to keep a long story short, I'm trying to sign up for benefits and sort of looking for a job. I have been pretty much going through hoops and it's taking my time away from making stories. While the job thing and benefits is more important, I feel quite mad at myself if I don't release a chapter once a week.
The second change is that I am currently finding it hard to motivate myself. That does not mean that I am thinking about stopping. Recently, I am getting distracted from other things on the web and putting off from writing until very late at night, where I don't have enough time before falling asleep. I feel like that I should be writing more within my day, but I am getting lazy. But don't worry, I have been nagging myself.
The last change is that I have been thinking of making one off stories. Stories that is short and doesn't take too long to complete. This mainly because I want to tell have more stories under my belt and bringing in a lot more followers. If I were to be making them, it would take time and effort away from my other series.
Coming soon, there will be cutting off point for all of my stories. Points where that if you would reach it, you would satisfied if there wouldn't be anymore chapter afterwards.
Within the next two chapters of "My Little Pony Toys", there will be a mini-conclusion that you would be happy with if you would stop reading. I want to make more chapters after that point (and I don't mean making a sequel story), but that would be a good place to stop.
The "Rainboom and The Dazzlings" is a episodic series, so every end of an episode would be a good cut-off point.
After the next two chapters of "I Hate Being In Equestria", the series will become a bit episodic. Hate (The character) didn't find a way home yet, but the Mane 6 are now finding one for him and is now interacting with the residents of Ponyvile more.
After all three of those things are done, I would now be making a few one-shot stories once in a while. And right now, the schedule would be something like this.
1. Write one chapter for "My Little Pony Toys" and publish
2. Write three chapter for "The Rainbooms And The Dazzlings" and publish
3. Write one chapter for "I Hate Being In Equestria" and publish
If I have something for a one-off, I would make something then return writing the pervious stories.
And that won't be going into the spin-off stories. At some point in the future, I want to make stories that are relating to my previous series and when I do that, I would put my current stories on hold. What I mean is: If I were to make a spin-off for "I Hate Being In Equestria", I would stop writing "I Hate Being In Equestria" and writing the spin-off instead while writing any other stories I would be writing.
I know that is would be a bit confusing, but I feel comfortable with that right now. But don't worry, there won't be a week where I won't be giving you something. Things might get better or worst in the future, but that's the future. The reason why the future is so interesting is because we don't know what it might hold.
Also, thank you for reading my stories.
