    Holiday Bundle 2023 Playlist!

Happy holidays, everybody! I'm sorry I'm late for sharing this playlist of 12 videos that I've been working on since this fall! Although I did post them on YouTube for Christmas, I shared it only on X that day and not anywhere else. Shame on me.:facehoof: It includes videos centered around The Bad Guys, Kung Fu Panda, The Owl House, Netflix's The Monkey King, and more! I'm very

    #RewriteWish Fan Project

So, quite unexpectedly, I've launched a fan project to basically make a different version of Disney's latest film Wish. I haven't seen the film yet, but from what I gathered from the online reviews, it sounded very generic, two-toned, and pretty dissatisfying. When I discovered the concepts and ideas that were deleted from the movie, I wrote my own version of the story. Not knowing how to

    Survey for Definitive Disney Ranking

Hi! I wanted to share this survey with you all. In it, participants can rate the 60 Disney animated features by using the star system. The responses will help me compile a DEFINITIVE ranking of the films in the Disney Animated Canon. I created the survey because a lot of people have various films listed as their number one and I want to be as objective as I can. You can use the first link below

For the Laughs...and Thrills! My Review of "Appleloosa's Most Wanted" · 7:02pm May 5th, 2015

Spoiler Alert! Do not continue on unless you’ve seen the episode/s! If you wish to continue, read at your own risk. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Hey, all! Welcome to another review of “My Little Pony”! In this review, I will cover "Appleloosa's Most Wanted". As I have discussed before, I will lay out the standards of my reviews. If you just want to skip to the break below, feel free by all means. Here are my standards:
• How in-depth I will go into the episode will vary on the impression it made.
• I may refer to stuff almost related to the show. It depends on what I’m reminded of in the episode.
• Some of the references may be unknown to you guys, so I apologize in advance if anything confuses you. I will do my best to clarify what I mean.
• I will list the pros and cons of each episode and then sum it up.
• The last thing I will do is give the episode one or a mix of the following:
o A letter grade
o A percentage
o A number on a scale of one to ten
• I may skip over select episodes due to a low impression or personal reasons. My apologies in advance to anyone I might offend by skipping over an episode they like.
Please keep this in mind so I don’t have to worry about boring you.
Here’s my review of "Appleloosa's Most Wanted"!

******

For goodness sakes, fix the dang typo already!
I assumed that the correct spelling for “Appleloosa” would be specified in the title. However, almost everyone insists that it’s spelled “Appleoosa” in the title. Can someone please fix this error? I’m just going to go with “Appleloosa” for my review.
This is the third review I’ve had to change the title for. As Master Yoda has said, “Always in motion is the future.” I guess I should heed his advice and add a little flexibility to my plans. I have a big to-do list for this summer, but I think it seems a bit rigid. After all, I’ve got so many things planned before college starts again.
When I first saw the synopsis, it wasn’t until later that it reminded me of “Home on the Range”. Perhaps most of you have seen or even heard it? I grew up watching the film and I listened to a few select songs endlessly. If you don’t know the plot of the film, let Mrs. Calloway, one of the cows from a mortgaged farm, sum it up.
Mrs. Calloway: “Well, here it is, then. Three dairy cows who’ve never been off their farm are to scour the entire West for a wanted outlaw, bring him in, and collect the $750 reward all in less than three days.”
Now here’s Sweetie Belle’s version of it:
Sweetie Belle: “Three young fillies who’ve yet to earn their cutie marks are to scour Appleloosa for a wanted outlaw, bring him in, and hopefully get their cutie marks in bringing justice all in less than three days.”
That’s what I assumed would be the plot until Troubleshoes Clyde was revealed to be a misunderstood outcast, not a mysterious outlaw. Jim Miller has stated that Troubleshoes was the largest pony to be designed for the show. I thought Troubleshoes was a Thoroughbred, but my sister said he was a Clydesdale. Given his name, I have to admit she was right. My sister also said that he was bigger than Big Mac. I’m thinking of drawing Troubleshoes meeting Big Mac. I’m picturing Big Mac looking stunned in the picture.
I was excited when I learned after watching the episode that Troubleshoes was voiced by Jim Miller! It was nice to hear his voice again after he did King Sombra (as far as I know). He did a great job at it and I hope he’ll make more voice cameos throughout the show. My sister has stated that Troubleshoes reminded her of Eeyore. To be honest, I thought that, too. I’m sure Jim Miller didn’t try to make him sound like Eeyore, but he did a good job making the character sound unique.
I thought young Troubleshoes looked so cute. I was surprised that they had a new special effect for a cutie mark appearing. Is this going to be the same way the CMC are going to get their cutie marks? I now understand why the episodes have been toned down: a cutie mark is a down-to-earth thing, regardless of pony race. It’s as realistic as an identity because it makes you stand out from other people. The CMC have been trying so hard to fit in, but I wonder what their reaction will be when they actually get their cutie marks. Will they feel strange because they have been outside for so long and realize that they were special even before they found their true callings?
As soon as I saw that Troubleshoes was clumsy, I knew he was going to be a rodeo clown. I loved the teardrop on the makeup of one of the clowns. Teardrops have been a thing with, as I specified in my last review. I’m glad Sweetie Belle’s using her magic more. Does this mean that Scootaloo will fly soon? Only time will tell.
Here are the pros and cons before I finish this review.
Pros: It pulled the old “PYUP” again, though not as much. Young Troubleshoes looked so charming! I like how Sweetie Belle’s magic is improving. Keep up the good work, Sweetie! Jim’s back again (as a voice)! A few jokes in the episode made me laugh.
Cons: I don’t have much to say about this episode because it didn’t impress me that much. It didn’t help that Applejack punished the three fillies. For this and other reasons, Applejack is my least favorite of the Mane Six. Yes, you may throw foodstuff at me, AJ fans. I don’t blame you.
In Summary: I really don’t have anything to say about this. I was thinking about not reviewing this episode, but I thought I should just get this out of the way. I seriously hope that the next episode (the Discord one, thankfully :D) will be better than I expect.
My rating: 7
See you till the next episode-and I really cannot wait!

Oh my goodness, you're right!:pinkiegasp: This episode was like "Home on the Range"(except for the Trouble Shoes part):pinkiegasp: I've seen that movie, wasn't a big fan of it, but I like some of the characters like Grace and Buck and the big buffalo(buffalos are sooo cute and I love them:heart:) Anyway, glad that you liked Trouble Shoes because I love him too:pinkiehappy: I wasn't expecting him to be a rodeo clown when first seeing the episode, but after seeing it a couple if times, the signs were there. Indeed, Jim Miller was great as Trouble Shoes.:yay: Actually, according to an interview with Jim Miller, he said that he was deeply inspired by Eeyore's voice when voicing Trouble Shoes, so his goal was to sound like Eeyore. I know, Trouble Shoes as colt was soooo cute!:rainbowkiss: I can't wait to see your picture of Big Mac and Trouble Shoes:twilightsmile: Oh by the way, have u read my review of the episode yet?

Oh by the way, after watching this episode and seeing fan art of this couple, I am now shipping Trouble Shoes x Derpy:pinkiehappy: Or as I like to call them DerpyShoes:heart:! What do think of this couple?

Oh, wow! I didn't know that! Thanks for telling me!
Yes, I've seen your review. I'm glad you liked the episode very much.

I am now shipping Trouble Shoes x Derpy:pinkiehappy: Or as I like to call them DerpyShoes:heart:! What do think of this couple?

I have seen a drawing of the two of them, but I'm not exactly for the shipping, I regret to say.

Glad that you liked my review because I certainly loved yours:twilightsmile: Glad that I gave u a fun Jim Miller fact:pinkiehappy: That's okay if you're not into shipping, shipping is not every pony's cup of tea. It's very understandable.

Yes

I thought Troubleshoes was a Thoroughbred, but my sister said he was a Clydesdale.

Really? If I was to categorize Troubleshoes I would go with Clydesdale or some other heavy breed. How much do you know on horse breeds?

It didn’t help that Applejack punished the three fillies.

Well, they did break rules, what kind of example would that set? They need to take the consequences just like Troubleshoes.
Good review
