    Holiday Bundle 2023 Playlist!

Happy holidays, everybody! I'm sorry I'm late for sharing this playlist of 12 videos that I've been working on since this fall! Although I did post them on YouTube for Christmas, I shared it only on X that day and not anywhere else. Shame on me.:facehoof: It includes videos centered around The Bad Guys, Kung Fu Panda, The Owl House, Netflix's The Monkey King, and more! I'm very

    #RewriteWish Fan Project

So, quite unexpectedly, I've launched a fan project to basically make a different version of Disney's latest film Wish. I haven't seen the film yet, but from what I gathered from the online reviews, it sounded very generic, two-toned, and pretty dissatisfying. When I discovered the concepts and ideas that were deleted from the movie, I wrote my own version of the story. Not knowing how to

    Survey for Definitive Disney Ranking

Hi! I wanted to share this survey with you all. In it, participants can rate the 60 Disney animated features by using the star system. The responses will help me compile a DEFINITIVE ranking of the films in the Disney Animated Canon. I created the survey because a lot of people have various films listed as their number one and I want to be as objective as I can. You can use the first link below

Life Update · 9:26pm Nov 18th, 2023

Hey, all!

It seems that I've been away from this site for almost a year now! I've neglected stories and haven't kept as close contact as I should have with some of my fans. I deeply apologize for it. CartoonNerd12 once said something about the state of the MLP fandom when G4 ended: "It's like a magic spell got lifted as soon as the show ended." We along with many others found ourselves tapering off from our MLP stories after "The Last Problem" aired. I realize there are still many of you who still keep the spirit of G4 alive through FIMFiction and other MLP-related sites. I want to honor that commitment by continuing my stories. Only two problems stand in my way: the direction of my passion, and my real-life circumstances.

I'll start with real life first. In late March of this year, my sister and I got hired for a part-time gig at a dining service for elderly patrons. Our schedule's like this: CN12 would work three days and I two days one week, and completely switch shifts the next week. It's kind of predictable yet unpredictable. The old PYUP, am I right?:raritywink: Joking aside, this job has - at the very least - kept us very busy and tired. And that's without going into our passion projects.

For those who don't know, my sister has been writing original stories, a few of which she supplied a link to on her own blog. https://www.fimfiction.net/blog/865098/my-first-ever-book

She really wants to make it as a writer. She's had limited luck so far. Thankfully for her, she's found the next best thing: Archive Of Our Own (AO3, for short). She's very active on that site with fanfiction inspired by her favorite anime as well as her pet projects. Don't worry, she still has the same username as the one she has on this site, so you should find her new stories easily.

Speaking of pet projects, I've been developing a few of my own. However, unlike CN12's stories, mine are geared towards visual media. Most of the projects are in the development phase at the moment, whether they're fancomics, videos, or my planned TV shows. Yep, you read right. I'm developing show bibles for a few animated series.

One is Ragtag Island, which will be a Broadway-style sitcom about two anthro creatures who have to live at a group home for outcasts after their tails become irrevocably tied due to freaky magic. My more ambitious project, however, is the 12-season Second Chance (Anti-) Reform School, which involves the famous Monkey King going to another world to teach criminals how to redeem themselves. While I was doing research for this (which I call copyright to!), I fell in love with the Monkey King's source material: Journey to the West. I have found more interesting nuggets of info than I thought I would use for my series, and the characters aren't too shabby, either. :raritywink: But that wasn't the only piece of media I was entranced with.

One of the biggest changes in my life happened because of The Bad Guys, a DreamWorks film that came out just last year. I first caught wind of it when I browsed through DreamWorks's then-upcoming catalog in October 2021. Though I checked out the book series it was inspired by and liked it, I wasn't immediately pulled by the first trailer for the movie...until the next day. I had to go to the sheriff's office for a background check to prep for a work experience I was due to have the next month. While I was there, I found that I couldn't stop thinking about the trailer. Just like when Mr. Wolf first got the tingle, I felt a similar tingle when I realized I was falling in love with the movie. And man, did I fall hard! I insta-clicked with the characters the more I got to know them, and the more they inspired me, the more comics and videos I wanted to do with them! I must confess that I have trouble getting started with the comics since I'm averse to having my drawings come out wrong. Thankfully, though, an avenue just opened for me in the video-editing department!

I recently had a new computer installed and it came with a video-editing software that allows me to edit actual clips! The previous software I had wasn't compatible with the non-camera footage I had captured before, but this one finally allowed me to bring my ideas to fruition! Of course, it's not without its difficulties, but I've found a workaround or two to make the process more feasible. I plan to be more active on YouTube in the future, so if you would like to subscribe to my YouTube channel down below, you're more than welcome to. I think you'll be in for a few fun surprises in the coming months!

My YouTube Channel

As for the MLP fanfics I've long neglected, I really want to go back and complete them for the sake of my audience. The main problem is that my drive's gone elsewhere, so I don't know when I'll return to stories like Prisoners of the Heart or My Little Monster House. It seems like a curse that a lot of fanfiction writers lose interest in their stories and let their faithful audience down. It's happened to me both ways: a few writers of stories that I followed seemed to taper off, and I'm no different. I can only hope that I'll regain my spark and dedicate my time to writing on FIMFiction and other sites again. I won't make any promises; I just want to come clean with everything's that's been happening in my life. Until I return to my wonderful stories, I hope I can entertain you in other ways.

One more thing: I want to thank you all for giving my stories a chance and wanting to see a better future for them. As an author, it makes me proud to see such a dedicated and patient fanbase (though I can totally understand if you're frustrated!). I really hope I can reward you in the future.

Honestly, after three years of silence, I kind of just assumed that the RCF stories were just quietly canceled.

I'm glad to see that they're not and that you're at least considering continuing those stories at some point, though obviously, real life takes precedence, and I'll look forward to it whenever it happens. I've waited three years, so I can wait a little more.

In the meantime, might as well do that long overdue re-read I'd been thinking of doing and never got around to!
