Update w/Good News · 7:02pm Jul 17th, 2012
So, things are picking up. I've gotten a lot done in the past week or so with consistent day to day writing. I know where I'm going for the next two chapters to a fair level of detail, and beyond that I have the outline leading up to the finale! That's right, I have a plan and the conclusion is in sight. (Maybe half way...maybe) Imagine that! I mean, it's probably worthwhile to point out that I'm not trying to write something like a novel. If anything, I imagine it more like a movie. I'm skipping through parts of the story that might well be interesting, but would just take too long to go through in the level of detail a novel might offer. I almost wish I could throw a montage in there showing time passing, some of the stuff characters do between chapters, etc. But look, I need to leave that to the reader, else, I'd never finish.
Chapter 4 just needs finalization, you can expect it to be out later today or sometime tomorrow! Hope you like it! My interpretation is a bit different from what I've seen in other stories, so be aware that the story will differ from "fancanon" that may be established by other stories. The show's canon is vague enough that I do not feel I am violating any cardinal rule by adding a few elements of my own. There is one especially significant element that appears to differ from canon, but I can't specify right now, it would spoil the story. So expect a vague answer if you leave a comment about the canon!
