3029696 Yeah well, not everybody gets noticed immediately. Sometimes it takes just that one story after so many tries to finally get recognition. My amount of followers compared to other people on this site, most of which are really just readers who have zero followers usually, it's a lot.

3029699 Don't be discouraged because you haven't gotten all that many followers as of yet an artist success/fame usually increases at an exponential rate. Read this it's a lesson worth remember for many aspects of our lives. In a nut shell it put's perspective on the concept of different types of growth patterns to help people build more accurate expectations.
The only thing that I find worth adding to the article is that things aren't inherently bound to follow either pattern even though they usually follow one or the other it's really up to the persons ability whether it becomes exponential or logarithmic and whether things get harder or easier as time goes on.
