Ashen Apples will have a new chapter soon

I'm very sorry for the wait, but after getting about halfway through the next chapter I just stopped and went.

So I scrapped it and started the chapter over. The good news is I like the new chapter much better and I'm making more progress on it. The bad news is this will delay the new chapter even more.

Sorry again for the wait, but it should be posted very soon.

(Along with a very secret hush hush project)

2989540 Maybe not, but both the next chapter of Ashen Apples and the project are progressing at about the same rate and they're nearly completed. If something happens to me, then that will also delay the Ashen Apples update and there isn't that much I can do about that but come clean and say something happened. If I scrap the project (which is a bit unlikely right now) and I'm desperate to post something, I have a few first chapters of stories I haven't posted yet because I haven't been in the mood to write the second chapter. No one but me knows what the special project is, so it makes no outside difference which one I post.

That said, you're still probably right about it not being a good time to mention it. It serves no purpose to the rest of the blog post and any number of things could happen to it or me before I post it.

Still, I'm really hyped about it so I thought I'd at least introduce that I was working on something to be published soon.

If it was a forum post, I definitely would have left it out. But, even if it was a blog talking about Ashen Apples, it's still my blog so I felt like putting it up there.
