    Holiday Bundle 2023 Playlist!

Happy holidays, everybody! I'm sorry I'm late for sharing this playlist of 12 videos that I've been working on since this fall! Although I did post them on YouTube for Christmas, I shared it only on X that day and not anywhere else. Shame on me.:facehoof: It includes videos centered around The Bad Guys, Kung Fu Panda, The Owl House, Netflix's The Monkey King, and more! I'm very

    #RewriteWish Fan Project

So, quite unexpectedly, I've launched a fan project to basically make a different version of Disney's latest film Wish. I haven't seen the film yet, but from what I gathered from the online reviews, it sounded very generic, two-toned, and pretty dissatisfying. When I discovered the concepts and ideas that were deleted from the movie, I wrote my own version of the story. Not knowing how to

    Survey for Definitive Disney Ranking

Hi! I wanted to share this survey with you all. In it, participants can rate the 60 Disney animated features by using the star system. The responses will help me compile a DEFINITIVE ranking of the films in the Disney Animated Canon. I created the survey because a lot of people have various films listed as their number one and I want to be as objective as I can. You can use the first link below

Extreme Makeover: Castle Edition; My Review of "Castle Sweet Castle" · 7:18pm Apr 15th, 2015

Spoiler Alert! Do not continue on unless you’ve seen the episode/s! If you wish to continue, read at your own risk. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Hey, all! Welcome to another review of “My Little Pony”! In this review, I will cover "Castle Sweet Castle". As I have discussed before, I will lay out the standards of my reviews. If you just want to skip to the break below, feel free by all means. Here are my standards:
• How in-depth I will go into the episode will vary on the impression it made.
• I may refer to stuff almost related to the show. It depends on what I’m reminded of in the episode.
• Some of the references may be unknown to you guys, so I apologize in advance if anything confuses you. I will do my best to clarify what I mean.
• I will list the pros and cons of each episode and then sum it up.
• The last thing I will do is give the episode one or a mix of the following:
o A letter grade
o A percentage
o A number on a scale of one to ten
• I may skip over select episodes due to a low impression or personal reasons. My apologies in advance to anyone I might offend by skipping over an episode they like.
Please keep this in mind so I don’t have to worry about boring you.
Here’s my review of "Castle Sweet Castle"!

*****

As I have mentioned in my review about the premiere, this season might pull some surprises. This episode does especially that. When I first saw the synopsis for “Castle Sweet Castle”, I thought Twilight was going to go through the stages of grief. However, the events of the episode have made the original title of the review, “Good Grief! (MLP Style)”, inappropriate. This episode also has the atmosphere made for young girls. Jim Miller has stated that MLP is made for young girls and that likely will not change. I think the “little girl” tone is partly the reason why MLP episodes often disinterest me.
It’s amazing how a deviation was spot on about Twilight having a pancake on her horn. I didn’t notice that until it was brought up on Equestria Daily. When the girls decide to make Twilight’s castle cozy, they all bring in something from their homes. I, personally, like Rarity’s additions, especially the portrait of the six of them. However, the girls miss the point of making the castle seem like home-a classic shortcoming in a girls’ show. Forgive me for sounding harsh, but this all seems predictable.
I absolutely love the chandelier made from the roots of the Golden Oak Library. It’s a nice homage to Twilight’s original home and the gems are a nice touch. I love how they showed more of the castle and I hope to see more of it soon. Twilight’s mane cut looks cutting-edge on her. It’s gained popularity, from drawings to shirts and plushies. I’m planning to use this particular style for an OC I may or may not use in the future. :raritywink:
It’s nice that Twilight’s friends leave a piece of themselves throughout the castle. I adore the décor Rarity put in the dining room. Somebody should use Pinkie’s hidden confetti cannons as an alarm system in case of burglars. Also, Sparity lives! Though I’m neutral to this shipping, I prefer them over Applespike. A few words from my sister: she liked how Angel got his just desserts when Twilight kicked him in the mud.
Let’s wrap up this review with the pros and cons:
Pros: Like the premiere, it has some nice surprises. The chandelier and the decorations are absolutely astounding! This episode also hints at Sparity. We are shown more views of the castle. I like Twilight’s mane cut (though it was only temporary).
Cons: This seems sort of childish to me, most because the episode (and the show entirely) was aimed for young girls. Am I the only one who thinks the chandelier will get distracting in the future? I also anticipated for Discord to appear like I did for the premiere, and ended up disappointed yet relieved. I’ve really got to stop waiting for Discord to show up.
In Summary: Though this review is shorter than the last one, this episode was fairly better than the premiere. My last review was long because I thought I needed to say more. The settings are beautiful and the visit to what remains of the Golden Oak Library was a nice way to honor it.
My rating: 8
See you till the next episode!

Here's my thoughts on the episode:

I liked the review KidatHeart, thumbs up from me:yay: I agree, Twilight's new mane was so cute yet unique, she should have kept it for the day or the new season. Yeah, your OC should totally do that new mane style, it'll be great:rainbowdetermined2:
Haha lol I loved your sister doesn't like Angel:rainbowkiss:
Sigh, I know, it's hard waiting for our baby Discord to show:ajsleepy: But he suppose to first appear in episode 7, yay! But the bad news is...we don't know when episode 7 is suppose to air. Boo!

2987732 Equestria Daily just released the synopsis and name for episode 7! I think this is the episode Fluttercord fans will be talking about for ages to come.
