I had an unexpected story idea crawl into my brain a couple weeks ago. And I do mean unexpected. This is not the sort of thing I had in mind when I thought about getting into the fandom!
Yes, somepony has their eyes on the happily-married Princess Cadance.
While that sets the story in motion, the character arc is probably more about the way two down-on-their-luck OCs react to being pulled away from each other amid a dangerous game between powerful forces. They know they're pawns; the question is, what can they do about it?
Right now I'm looking for a couple people to read a couple chapters and give some really basic "does it suck?"-level feedback. More specifics would be welcome but it's not to the point where I'd want anyone to feel they have to work super-hard on a review. I would also love to find an editor for when this thing gets closer to done, but that could take a while.

FYI for anyone else interested, I'm aiming at a Teen rating with no sex/gore, though the former will be implied. Likely categories would be Adventure, Romance, and possibly Dark.
