Thank you, Hasbro, for throwing a massive wrench into my summer's work. Not really, I love you guys, but still! I compare the feeling to receiving a massive platter of dessert JUST after gorging yourself on pizza.
YAY, ICE CREAM! Except I just filled myself up on... Yeah, you get the point. Sorry, I think in metaphors very often.
Anyway, this has pushed me into an early release date. Hasbro has become EA, and I am Bioware. J/K, my fic will not be as unfinished as SWTOR was, I assure you. The entire thing has been written and as of midnight I finished editing chapter 10/20, which is not quite halfway due to increasing chapter sizes, but pretty close.
THEREFORE! Release date for my fic is now, officially, [REDACTED]
Illustrations not yet complete will be shelved until 1) the story is ready and 2) I have completed the cover pic. Of course by now I realize that there's no possible way to finish the illustrations before the new due date. It literally takes me 8+ hours per pic for the most part, and even if I worked without sleeping that wouldn't add up to enough time.
So back to work I go! After the release of my fic, I'll talk more about season 3 and how I will deal with the inevitable fic-breaking events that are likely to be contained within.
