And then I was popular · 10:30pm Jul 13th, 2012
Really, guys, Psychologest started out as an examination of a throwaway gag in my Rainbow is a bad cook Speedfic entry. I'm entry 101, BTW. So why is it that something that started out as basically a joke is more popular then my serious works?
Not that I'm complaining, but I need to do my serious works too. You know?
Well, I guess I can't speak for anyone else, but I liked it because the premise was new and there's so many different situations you can make with a story like this that the future looks bright.
I guess sometimes real gems of stories come from unexpected places?
I know how it feels, I submit a story that was just a stray idea the night before, and wake up the next morning with 40 notifications.dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/emoticons/misc_Vinyl_Scratch.png

I know what you mean. My stupidest stories do better than they should. The moral of the story: write stupid stories.
But seriously, don't worry about not getting as many views on one story or another. The important thing is that you enjoy what you're doing and find meaning in it. Writing is great.
There are so many ways to answer that...
1. It's a good story line.
2. You've put Pinkie into a hilariously unlikely scenario that makes total sense.
3. It'd be entertaining if Pinkie Pie watched paint dry. (Actually a good story on here about that.)
4. The internet is an enigma and it likes what it likes.
5. Wonderfully written and thought out.
6. ???
7. Aliens.
