Changes in the rewrite of The Cabal · 2:17pm Apr 10th, 2015
As promised, here are the changes that you can spot in the first chapter:
- The events flow smoother than in canon... Or at least I hope so.
- The Force Blader has been active for the past thousand years, ruling alongside Celestia.
- His Cabal has been helping the ponies, not staying hidden/disbanded like in the first two versions.
- Warp Gates (the portals that allow a player to move between the different areas in the game) are a thing.
- He has a student, who doesn't mix well with Twilight. She'll be revealed in the next chapter and added to the tags.
- He and Celestia know that the Element Bearers are in Ponyville. Make your own conclusions from that.
- Twilight, as well as the setting, is more mature. This is partially the Force Blader's influence, partially her age. I've decided to make her twenty years old, with her friends being close to that.
- Spike himself is taller. No longer an adorable baby dragon. Now we have an adorable teenage dragon who's like a brother to Twilight. I think it won't be too much of a spoiler if I tell you that he'll have a much bigger role in this AU.
