Some More Thoughts On Writing Clopfics

I think I'm pretty good with writing peeps but I'm not great when it comes to sex.

The main reason is that I can get really bored, really fast. The actual process of sexual intercourse is boring to me. Once you know it, you always know it. Fuck your prose and your characters, sex is really, really samey to me.

Shoot, I'm beginning to zone out right now.

I guess if you looked through all my fics, I'm a big fan of foreplay. I try to add more and more sex to my fics, minding my lines and keeping everything sexy. I find most of my stuff kinky but I can tell from my general reaction of my fics that I'm always a little off the mark.

What can I say? Plow. Plow. Thank you, doll. Makes me zone out.

The type of kinky fic that I like should have me liking the main character (in some form) and have me snickering. I remember cracking up writing The Sticky Grind and Sipping but lately I haven't been getting my jollies in.

Lazily, I'm making it through my next fic, Driftwood Daze and boredly trying to spice up the fic as I make the transition between the scenario and the actual sex. I cannot explain how bored I am. I cannot begin to describe how bored and lazy and wondering where did I go wrong in the initial idea for the story to grow so stale. It has all the typical dressing for a clopfic but I just don't find it erotic.

I had the same problem with Sweating The Spread but I decided to chug through it and ramp up the weaker parts. I think the evidence of that fic reaction speak for itself. I thought all the detail on the paizuri (trying to win a contest here) would be enough to carry the fic but the readers want plowing sex. Driftwood is the answer to that and I can't believe how much my brain is oozing out of my head to do something interesting.

You know, when I got The Sticky Grind back on this account, I noticed someone put it in the Rape group. I know that a lot of my fics are dub-con but yeah... The Sticky Grind?

Really?

Consider me switching gears. You lot haven't seem me write proper dub-con.
