So, I was finally able to see the live action Cinderella today, and more importantly and why I’m here, the short, Frozen Fever.
In it, we see Elsa… preparing a birthday party for Anna.
Okay, so on the surface, it sounds simply, and I can see many people saying as much.
Also, if you got confused and mad at how I gave Elsa log powers, wait till you see what this short gives her in terms of new powers.
(Spoiler warning ahead as I will be saying how it will affect the rest of Elsa’s Snowdrop)
However, I think it showed a lot of character for both Anna, and Elsa.
For one, you have Elsa putting so much effort into the party since she’s neglected all of Anna’s birthday in the past, while Elsa is coming down with a… Um, fever. But despite this, want to do everything to make up for it by making the day perfect. While Anna, on the other hand, wants her sister to slow down and take care of herself just as much, yet, still admires all of her sisters hard work.
Also, Elsa can make mini snowmen whenever she sneezes and make colored snow dresses now as well.
Again, does my log powers sound that farfetched when Elsa can make a dress of any color of the rainbow? Should be fun trying to write that into the story XD…
Also, before anyone tries to correct me, she never sneezed when she had a fever when she exhausted herself in the chapter where they race to save Snowdrop…. Which now makes it worse to me since the ice-castle was still standing there.
FYI, not changing that. It was good symbolism, and the story is tagged AU anyways.
As for how this will affect future chapters, I do plan on how to find a way to write these new problems into the story, and explore more of this guilt Elsa has, since in this version, she has both the guilt for ignoring Anna all her childhood, and for being unable to get Snowdrop home.
That should be fun ^^
However, for when I’ll get the next chapter out…
I’ll see what I can do to get the ball rolling again. By that I mean I’m about to start a summer job, may have some parent drama if they see a new video for autism awareness day Let's see how that goes
But I should have my phone, and seriously, I’ll find a way to finish the story, but with another two I'm working on for fanfiction.
