Hey guys, Kirb here! Didn’t forget about me, did ya?
So, a few things have happened. First of all, let me explain about the previous post of mine. The reason I was so depressed was because, all in the same day, my Model Congress bill failed, one of my good friends got very angry at me, and my girlfriend broke up with me; the latter left me feeling near suicidal. Since then, however, two of them have been resolved: I made up with the friend and we’re all better now, and I got a B in Model Congress.
Unfortunately, my girlfriend is still no longer dating me, but I see her every day in English class and I get the sense that this wasn’t willing and her parents forced her into it. All I can say is, I hope they change their minds.
Meanwhile, I’m sure you’re wondering about my fanfiction and art situation. Well, work on Stone Cold Crazy has been going very slowly, but I need to get back into the hang of writing after Model Congress finished, anyway. However, I’ve finished a new one-shot fic called Spring Is in Bloom, based on a strange dream I had. It’s co-written by my longtime friend and prereader Zephyr, so hopefully you all enjoy it. Warning: it contains large amounts of clop in the second act. X3

The trick is to realize that although it seems like bad experiences last forever, things will always get better at some point. Even if all hope seems lost, If you just grit your teeth and keep walking forward, you'll eventually find your way.

With that said, I guess the fact that only a few weeks ago she was slipped some acid and had to be taken to the hospital might have influenced their hate against me, but it had been going on long before that. But if that's the case, then I still have to ask why they hate ME for it. I mean, I was doing my job, playing the drums. I couldn't be attentive to Dana during that, and it's not like I was the one who slipped her acid, geez...
2917704 Thanks for the words of encouragement. Anyway, Dana will be turning 18 soon, so her parents won't be able to control her anymore. Hopefully she hasn't lost interest in me during that time.
