You know, Starlight Over Detrot is the first story I've ever dedicated this level of attention to? It's my first fan-fiction and the first story I've written in many years that had even a chance of being finished (though it's likely to be a while before it is.)
I'm a young writer and still in what amounts to the 'learning phase' of how to be a writer. My current goal is around a 1000 words a day. I know some grind and publish writers manage upwards of 5000 but I simply haven't the stamina for such a thing.
I will say that what is upcoming is going to be spectacular. Stick around. Things haven't even begun yet.

Sugarcube, if I can do 5000 words a day that's an AWFUL big day. 3000 is more typical and I've been doin' this for thirty years or so...
Just carry on- you can do it! You have the spark- your instincts are right
