    Return

Hey guys, it's been a while. I'll keep a long and uninteresting story short. I needed a break, not really from writing, but from life in general. Writing was just one of the many things that had taken a seat during my reprieve. However, things have been getting better over the past two months and I think the time I've taken to myself has been more than long enough. I understand if some of you may

    Update

I didn't want to make a new blog post ever again, seeing as it was at 117 blog posts :P Anyways, I have an update ready to go for chapter three of the Guardian rewrite. I also wanted to mention that I have taken the chapter title from chapter two and am giving it to chapter three instead, as chapter three did not get as far as I intended.

    College

Hey guys and gals! Requiem here. I just spent my first night here at the University of North Dakota. The transition is going well, my roommate and I get along, and my schedule looks ok. The campus is pretty and there's lots to do, especially shopping, in Grand Forks. Not sure if I'm looking forward to the winter though. Snow is something I'm used to as a Minnesotan, but the legendary wind

Working on stuff · 8:57pm Mar 24th, 2015

Hello my fellows!

I have some news for yall. First off, tennis season has now started. This both frees up and crunches time for me as it means spring is here, making me more active and energetic, meaning I don't waste as much time going 'meh' as winter does. With that said, it also crunches my time as practice sucks up a good four hours everyday. And I am striving to make Varsity this year, so I'll be working my ass off at that.

What does this mean for writing? Well, it means that I'll have more energy to write :) I'll have more inspiration and drive as I become more energetic. So you can expect faster updates as long as school work doesn't get too heavy with sports.

I'm currently working on Nightmare's Weapon as I re-read it the other day. We'll get an update out for that. Then ROTG will get its next update as well. I stayed home sick today but I am feeling better.

So what do you all say? Shall we? Here's to a bright and sun filled summer!

(Sucks to be you if you're in the southern hemisphere XD)

Or if you are on the east coast and get snow the day before spring.

Ouch. We had snow yesterday too.

I have no idea what Varsity is but good luck to you! :pinkiehappy:

Doubt summer is gonna be much fun for me and the rest of south west England, judging by the massive floods we had last year, but at least Blackpool will be ready to receive all the insane beach goers :rainbowlaugh:

Faster updates are always good so long as you don't tire yourself out. :unsuresweetie:

Gone on a diet now, so no more epic snacks for epic story time. :raritycry:

2907366 In high school sports there are two tiers or groups. Junior Varsity and Varsity. Varsity only has a limited number of available spots for players. The best of the best. Junior Varsity is for the rest of the team. Normally in high school sports there are try outs since there is limited space, meaning you can be cut from the team. My tennis team, and most of my school for that matter, don't cut kids because there is generally enough room and everybody is happy. However, there is only so many JV kids in other schools, so the worst players on the team play something called exibition. The points they make there don't count :/ I've only been in exibition once. Last year I played fourth doubles and third singles on JV. Love playing singles. This year I hope to make Varsity. It's highly competitive.

We get some nasty flooding as well. We are the land of 10,000 lakes after all XD

I'll be sure to call for help if need be :)

No snacks!? Unacceptable! You could still eat. Go for a jog or bike ride. If that's not an option, you could swim, go to a sauna, or do some light crunches etc. Then again, I've never gone on a diet or anything. A high metabolism is both a curse and a blessing. I'm always hungry and my level of activity makes me hungrier, but I can eat anything.

Fun fact: Humans eat more chocolate than the Earth can produce. By the mid 2020s, chocolate will be as expensive as caviar (I have no idea how expensive that is, but I'm assuming fish eggs are pretty pricey). So enjoy it while you can. Our children will never get such a pleasure as we did.

...

Now I feel old XD Something as common as chocolate will be outdated in my lifetime! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

...

:pinkiegasp:
massive chocolate farms!!!!

also you're right, exercise is key, although i get quite a lot of exercise at work :rainbowlaugh:
but i guess a little extra won't hurt.

2908705 XD yeah, I play tennis all year round in indoor courts during winter and I jog. Work also is very full of excercise for me. Hustling brush into a chipper, carrying logs out of steep ditches and tossing them above head height into a truck bed taller than me, and clean up of the site is pretty strenuous. Love it though. There's something... Freeing in physical labor.

...

Not when it's slavery or communism though XD

damn, that sounds like hard work! :twilightoops:

all i gotta do is shift metal of varying sizes into a blazing fire, pull them out again, hit 'em with a big hammer until they resemble something useful, then have a cup a tea, then start all over again. :rainbowderp: (on the plus side i get too listen to music or take part in group work songs (not quite sea shanties cos we're on land). :twilightsheepish:

fuck slavery, screw communism. :twilightangry2:

XEN0KID, that guys head is AMAZING! he could get work in a barber shop, as the mirror. :rainbowlaugh:

2909671 XD and your a blacksmith or work in a metal shop? That's pretty cool. I know a little bit about that stuff but not much. Only took a year in metals. I'm more into trees XD
