I really hate seeing stories I spend so much time on go to waste. Rare Raindrop Rarity was a huge flop and the negativity was overwhelming. What I had hoped would be a fanfiction close to the style of the Friendship is Magic series became target of criticism and misunderstanding overnight. Now I can handle criticism, people can hate my work or they can love it, they can hate me if they want as well, that doesn't bother me, what does bother me is when it gets to the point my self esteem drops like a rock in shallow water, but even that is no excuse for my actions. My decision to revoke it didn't work thus I opted to delete the story since I wasn't going to hear the end of it while I was planing to fix it as well as turn it into a lengthy chaptered story like the ones I've done already, I would have kept the Rare Raindrop Rarity's first and only chapter there, whilst adding the smaller chapters which would build up to saving Coltlantis from the IDW Comics. So I'm going to work on a revised version of the story more fitting of the readers attention, as well as being closer to the dark and sad fanfics I work on most of the time.
Currently revising the story isn't easy. The original version was the story and making a new one up is harder than it would be for me normally.
damn, I was looking forward to reading as I had it open in a tab. Hopefully the revise does better.
Just keep trying.
