New Upcoming Story (for real this time), and one bit Equestrian Earth news · 12:10am Mar 10th, 2015
A lot of this has to do with the new upcoming story so if you're only here for Equestrian Earth news, I'll just post it here.
I'm pretty tired with working on the Chapter 5 revisions. My editing team is pretty much, uh, unresponsive for the last 3 months. Probably due to the fact that they have better things to do, so right now progress on the revisions is incredibly slow. Also that's due to the fact well... I'm getting pretty sick and tired of working on the revision. I mean I like the story and all, but I really hate reworking on shit. Unfortunately I'm still a person that commits to things (even if it's over a prolonged term), so for now that's on hiatus.
However I've decided to shift my attention to writing a new Intermission chapter. Those are always fun since I get to expand on the EEMMORPG universe in more ways than one, so you have that to look forward to. As to what the chapter is going to center around... well... hmm I wonder what it could. Certainly it couldn't be related to one of the pictures on this very page.
But anyway, you have that to look forward too.
Anyway moving on.
So remember last time I said I wasn't going to give any fucks and just write a story with no seriousness involved what-so-ever? Well unfortunately I didn't complete it in the time I wanted to so I fucked up and lost interest in it.
Again. God I'm such a piece of shit.
Honestly I could make so many excuses involving how college is cramping my life, but honestly some of you guys already know the truth that I'm a Youtube and League of Legends junkie, and I've recently started playing Smite too (for casual/stress-reliefing fun), and a certain person recently wanted to get back into GW2 so yeah I'm kinda redownloading that too. Honestly I'm procrasinating on so many things, but there is one story for certain that I haven't given up progress on and that's a fic I'm working on for a friend. It's completion is pretty much overdue by several months (was SUPPOSED to be done by sometime during the Fall), but he seems pretty happy with the last update I've shown him. (Still tho, only 5k words over 4-5 months is pretty shitty pacing).
But anyway yeah, I've decided to change paces with the story and make it even longer than it was originally planned. I've talked about it with my friend last night and he's pretty keen on the idea and would actually like to get this story out, so he's given me permission to post it here on Fimfiction. Expect that to come up some time this week. For real this time. If that promise is broken, I'll give all you guys permission to kick me an any place you desire. No holdbacks... that is if you can find me.
As for what the story is about... well I do like Spike. Cause he's a dragon, and dragons are cool.
