"Now... bring me that horizon!" · 9:23pm Mar 9th, 2015
Well, here we are. It's been a while since the last chapter was published and I do believe it is about time I confirmed to all of you that I am, quite simply, not dead. I am not dead, as far as I am aware, either literally, legally or through any other such means that one can be considered dead. I have, however, spent the last few months rather bored of My Little Pony when it comes to writing.
And yes! That is a shame when it comes to the story. While I have had many silly issues with my mind over the past few years, it was boredom of the source material that kept this story in limbo. I had the time to do it, but I instead wrote other things and stories, simply for the sheer joy of actually writing. (I didn't even post the damn things; it was just for the hell of it!)
But then I began to write pony stories. Just a few here in there. One based on the fantastic A New World: A New Way featuring Team Rocket and some with a rather new and grumpy Doctor thrown in. Some were even about a little pink-haired witch summoning Discord. But the point is they were there, and then it happened:
I wanted this story back on track, dammit!
So in a week or so, hopefully, the next chapter will be out. There honestly isn't much left to do for this chapter rather than simple checks and tweaks. I have no idea how long the one after that will take so I will make zero promises, but I'm not dead. And, frankly, neither is this story. it doesn't make up for it much, but here's an image I create to try and inspire me a few months ago. Hopefully it at least gives someone a few laughs!
"Hey look, you're back!"
*Holds up big knife*
"Well, time to fulfill my end of the deal... Now where's that cat gotten too?"
Yay
Now where did the story leave off again? I can't remember.
ITS ABOUT BUCKING TIME

Hey, I've still not read the last chapter of it, so the world's still good and fair I guess.
Also, it's never my concern that authors or stories die. Rather, I fear for them to become hollowed and get locked away in some northern prison. Your reasons, by the way, are totally legit. I prefer authors to stop when fun decides to go somewhere else instead of pushing through a painful process that ends with some semi-good product.
