Lack of an Update?

I know it's been, well, over two months since the last update now, and for that I apologise. The last few months have been a mix of good and bad stuff, and the main problem with the good stuff was that it came after the bad stuff, so I got really distracted by it. Right, I'm here. Alive! Still breathing!

And, rather conventionally, a lot of free time on my hands. I've had a bit of a rough time lately, with quite a few things and, honestly, I lost the will to write for a while. Seriously, it just vanished. It was horribly irritating. All these ideas and proof readings to be done and I just wanted to read the damn stuff instead. But then my University work load settled down, I discovered some new fandoms and I started to enjoy writing again.

So, the good news for you lot is that Barbossa is coming back! Or, at least, the next chapter will be out soon. But how soon is soon, I hear the (very very few) remaining readers of this story ask? I'm not actually sure, but I damn well know it won't be anywhere near as long as the recent updates have been.

But the next chapter is done, as is a few after it. All there's left to do on the next one is some major TLC, and by God, it's getting it.
