We are the Darkness but we're leaving.
I solemnly swear, with all of my life, and before the holy fire,
We are the Gods that are deceiving,
The only darkness I will heed, will be ash upon the pyre.
We are the painters of blind faith!
For the black of the night and dying light, is the most wretched thing.
We are the children of your rivals,
I pledged my life, and lost my sight, in service of my king.
Holding guns while reading Bibles,
And with this gift, and with this pain, I'll forever be his knight.
Go ahead and seal your fate,
To spread his word, and bathe the world, in glorious Blinding Light.
