I forgot how easy and hard this writing thing is. Coming up with content is pretty easy for me. Typing it out is pretty easy for me. The hard part is editing it satisfactorily and potentially maintaining continuity. I could really use someone to bounce Ideas off of. I posted a chapter earlier today and already have another 2100 words written in the next chapter.
The main delay for publishing chapters comes from my inability to edit my own work. I know what I'm trying to convey and have such a vivid image of what's going on in my head that I'm not sure if I'm actually painting an accurate picture until I can totally forget that image and see if my words paint a decent one. That takes a long time. So what I have to do is write the chapter and make the obvious edits I can. The I leave the chapter for a month or two, that way when I come back to it, I can look at it with fresh eyes.
If I had someone that could assist with the editing process, not even worry about grammar or proper punctuation as much as making sure I'm typing "they went to the story" instead of "they went went the store" that would be very helpful.

Plus as an added perk, you get to read the stories a bit ahead of time.
