Chapter 2 of "A Canterlot Courtship" should be ready by this weekend... working on the last scene now, and I figure Friday or Saturday posting, if it gets the blessings of my Beta-Valkyries (yes, that's what I call them. Perhaps Beta-Norns would be more appropriate, or Beta-Fates, since there are three...)
Also, anyone out there interested in seeing a story about Big Mac getting the metal band he was in during his high-school days back together? What, you didn't know he was in a band? Well, myself and Orange (one of the aforementioned Beta-Empresses) did, and we think it'd be a pretty funny idea. Anyway, that idea's still a ways off, just thought I'd throw it out there to see if anyone had any thoughts on it.

Glad you're excited! And that band story will probably happen, eventually, since Beta-Goddess Orange and myself are both serious music fans in general, and metal fans especially. Just gotta brush up on those metal cliches and work on good puns...

We've gotten as far as giving the band a line-up (keeping it to ourselves ATM, but it's all BG ponies as his band-mates,) and sketching out a few overall ideas. I think it'll happen, either after "ACC" or if there's a lull in that story and this steps up and demands to be written. I get the feeling this would be either a long-ish one-shot or a short multi-parter.

Hm, if it's just a quick back together sort of thing I recommend a long one shot. However, you could make it a multi-parter on how Mac goes to each pony to convince them to come back with the last chapter being them all together and performing.
