A majority of my inspiration came from reading Jaydextheshadowknights fics. He was the main drive that got me wanting to write something heartwarming. I Started writing in 2013 and did a years worth of practice writing before I was ready to do my story. So I came up with the idea after I started noticing the lack of cuddle fics. I based Dash on how the fandom views Pegasi relationships... protective of their mates. I Thought Dash would come in crying because she was not there to prevent your injury at work. I had it going for about 500 words then I hit a snag and started listening to music. Love songs like these 4 songs...
the rest of the story wrote itself.
I remember thinking to myself "No Way People Are Going To Enjoy This." because at the time I thought it was crap. I was pleasantly surprised that people actually got a little emotional over my story. So there you go. My Family has asked me this soo many times its not even funny this blog post is as much for you guys as it is for them. I do have another chapter in planning so be prepared.
