My birthday and tagging. · 5:06am Feb 6th, 2015
Today, February 6th 2015 is my 17 birthday!!! Seventeen years seemed to have flown by so fast for me, I've hit a lot of bumps in the road and with this year being my last one in school my road is going to get bumpier.
I logged onto Fimfiction.net this morning and the first thing I see is 12 notifications!! I don't think I have ever seen so many before, it was quite a shock to me but I know why it happened. So I had a busy night last night and if you look at my stories ya'll see why. After viewing one of Pen Stroke's blogs about Nyx, I read that I had to tag him and the original story when crediting him for the character and Past Sins. Now I had avoided that for a while not from choice but from lacking knowledge but I figured out how to do it last night. Now in all my stories that are published, ya'll see I have linked a lot of people such as Meredith Sims, Silly Filly Studios, and Pen Stroke. As well as stories such as Past Sins, the fan animation Snowdrop etc. The influx of notifications came from adding Conflict, a story that hadn't been picked up on by The Nyxian Alliance and Pasts Sins to the groups I just mentioned. I'm not a fan of groups, I don't like being a part of them and I might leave the groups soon.
So my night was busy even though I should've been sleeping. I have paused work on Tears in the Snow as I had asked another author if he could possible write a song that could be sung in the upcoming ninth chapter, which I will soon resume work on, but in the meantime I had started work on another story but this time based on Rainbow Dash set twelve years after the mane series. I have also posted a new chapter of The Misadventures of Fluffle Puff.
So that's it really, I'm going to continue work on my stories and enjoy my Birthday while it lasts. See ya later readers!!
You can switch off notifications per group. Go to the Settings button and you have two options. Notifications for new stories added, and notifications for new threads added. Sculpt these to your own tastes per group and you can join as many as you like without getting spammed with notices.
