TSoP Updated and other news.

My blogs are so boring. My user page is also boring. My avatar is awesome though. Applejack is a magnificent creature and we should all thank the artists of the community for capturing her epicness and sharing it with the rest of us.

Anyway, TSoP: It's been updated. I lost a crapton of old comments when I deleted the now apocryphal chapter six, so a moment of silence for Pixel Pony's comment about being "in the right neighborhood." You will be missed, awesome comment...

In a previous blog I mentioned all my new stories being in a new universe. Well I'm going to amend that statement. In this version of things, the Lilyverse, which has failed to garner much attention, is going to be mirrored in the Gentlemanverse where my next story will take place. I'm not planning on cancelling Siege of Castle Harmony, but it's being placed on the back burner.

I love Siege, I really do. It's a story I want to tell, but it's just not something many of you want to read. I can relate. I knew going in that a story about Genghis Linky Khan throwing snow at other ponies was not going to be easy to sell to a crowded market that favors known writers and multi-chapter clopfics.

Yes, multi-chapter clopfics. Contrary to the conventional wisdom, one-shot clopfics actually don't do so well...

Anyway, I wanted to write a story that might have worked back in 2011, when the community was young and fresh. In the dying days of 2014. It never stood a chance against the ocean of other oddball stories.

I will come back to it, I swear. Linky will have her day.

For now, I'm going back to the well and amending my biggest mistake/most notable achievement, The Scent of Prey. I'm writing a sequel that will be told from Roseluck's perspective. The lack of any real character from Roseluck is the biggest flaw in TSoP, and this sequel will aim to fix that, as well as see Richard from a pony's eyes. And of course, it will be very NSFW. Bring a towel.
