So, since I am a MAJOR troper, I thought 'why the hell not', and decided to make a kind of 'trope page' on some of my stories. First up- Blazing Skies!

    Science of the Fanfic!

Are you feeling disconnected from the readers of YOUR fan-fictions? Do you think that your story's headcanon is a little TOO confusing, even for the smartest of reviewers?

    More delays

Yeah, remember how I posted about how I was having issues writing? Add one more to that list. On Thursday, I got my wisdom teeth removed, since they were impacted. All four of them. It has not been fun since. Seriously, you should've seen them. The damn things were HUGE! And green! No wonder I'm hurting so much, there's humongous holes in my jaw. So, yeah. I'm sitting here, holding my jaw,

    For my (few) followers

I would like to alert all following my stories (if there are any) that I know I have a severe case of writer's block. This is for several reasons, and I feel I have to take responsibility for my fans...

First: I am normally extremely lazy. When I actually know I REALLY need to do something, I tend to fail to do it.

TVTropes on Displaced- Nightmare and the Puella Magi · 6:07am Jan 3rd, 2015

Well, here we are again. It's always such a pleasure. Remember how you tried to kill me- wait, wrong script. Let me see… Ah! Here we are!

Well, it's that time again! With the release of Der Azurblaue Ritter Des Betrügers, I've not just provided my readers with one, nor two, not even three, but six. Six new Displaced. Which means I have seven Displaced total under my command. This is probably a world record. But enough of that. It's troping time!

Nightmare: a member of sect devoted to worship of the Old Ones, and the practice of magic and sorcery, which also is supposed to protect humanity from supernatural threats. Wallace Delapore, much like basically every other Displaced, was sent to an Equestria courtesy of The Merchant 2007 years before the events of MLP: FiM. He became a knight of the frail and ancient Equestria, but apparently had a falling out with them and got sealed in stone. Now, weak and without his sacred weapon, the Azure Knight is left in the care of the Puella Magi. But still, 'that is not dead which can eternal lie, And with strange aeons even death may die'.

For added effect, listen to this.

-Accidental Pervert: He looked up Sayaka's dress and tore the back half off Silkius' off. Both complete accidents, but that doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy them.

Thank you, based Shub-Nigurrath, for I have seen heaven. And it is a bright white.

-Animated Armor: Played with. His forms in III and IV don't have any human body inhabiting them, but it's still him in there.
-Antiquated Linguistics: He tends to talk in a very formal manner, but mostly downplays this.
-Authority Equals Asskicking: He's a knight-captain of ancient Equestria, and is more than capable of wiping the floor with anyone who'd dare lay a hand on his people.
-Badass: He's a dark sorcerer given command over a demon blade, what do you think?
--Cultured Badass: Considering he's been a knight of the realm for over a year, he knows his way around a royal court.
--Badass Baritone: Even before becoming Nightmare, he had this.
-Belly Mouth: His III and IV forms have this. Well, with III it's more of a chest mouth, but it can slide.
-BFS: When Soul Edge assumes its 'Male' form.
--One-Handed Zweihänder: Zig-Zagged. He tends to only use one hand, so the other can use magic, but he also uses two hands when performing a powerful strike.
-Bishonen: Although most people can't see it, since he practically never removes his armor.
-Blood Knight: Inferno's not the only one who enjoys their job.
-Blood Magic: He's actually worse than the original Nightmare because of this. He consumes his victims bodies by turning them into bloody puddles and sucking them up a la Alucard.
--Life Drinker: He eats souls and consumes his victims' corpses in order to extend his (and Soul Edge's) vitality, as well as to become stronger.
-Body Horror: He's wielding Soul Edge. What do you THINK is going to happen to him?
-Byronic Hero: Not completely, but he still does fit most of the pre-requisites.
-The Dark Arts: He's from a Lovecraftian cult, what do you expect?
--Black Magic: Plays a good part in this.
--Summon Magic: Generally what he uses it for. So far, he's summoned Airy, and the Hounds of Tindalos.
-Deadpan Snarker: He gets his moments.
--Tall, Dark, and Snarky: The simplest way to describe him.
--The Snark Knight: Well, this works, too.
-Living A Double Life: Slightly downplayed. He doesn't really change much up when he serves as the queen's assassin, it's just now he kills allies and enemies alike. Although, being Nightmare, that's almost par for the course.
-Playing With Fire: He does wield fire abilities, but he doesn't use them that often.
-Power Dyes Your Hair: He had raven black hair. Key word being 'had'. Soul Edge's raw essence made short work of this, and now it's just as red as his magic.
-Red Baron/In-Series Nickname: The Azure Knight, or Equestria's Dark Blade.
-Red Eyes, Take Warning: And by 'take warning', we mean 'run for your fucking life'.
-Right Hand of Doom: Let me say it again: He. Is. Nightmare.
-Your Worst Nightmare: Calls himself this after No Selling his enemy's better attacks. Bonus points for the pun.
-24-Hour Armor: Because he's worried someone might attack him when he takes it off.

Puella Magi: A group of five girls who wound up getting warped to a year before the events of the show together. After their debut in Blazing Skies, they're now taking care of Nightmare as he recovers.

Tropes applying to all of them:
-Badass: Kind of a requirement to be a Displaced.
--Badass Adorable: Duh.
--Little Miss Badass: While they're actually all in their mid-20s and whatnot, you can't tell. Especially not with those faces.
-Bi the Way: All of them. No exceptions.
--Lovable Sex Maniac: But I'd like to see you hate them for it.
--Anything That Moves: They tried to do it with Geo. All at once.
-Chromatic Arrangement: They don't usually arrange themselves so, but when they do, it's usually because they just did something badass.
-Color-Coded Characters: Yup.
-Curtains Match the Window: All save Homura, much like the show
-Laser Guided Amnesia: They don't remember their real names, hence why they refer to themselves as their characters, unlike most of the other Displaced. In fact, it also rewrites part of the characters' psyche into them.
Leitmotif: They all have their respective leitmotif from the series.
-Magical Girl: Ya think?
-Telepathy: The reason they can fight so well is because they don't need to waste breath on ordering each other around, they just think it, and then they do it.

Madoka Kaname: Actually the eldest of the five, she's quite content with doing nothing but helping the Equestrians with their abilities.

-Berserk Button: Being called useless.
-Combat Pragmatist: Normally tries to kill Witches without any theatrics.
-Fragile Speedster: Unlike the original
-Energy Bow: Like the original.
Genre Savvy: She's the eldest for a reason.
-Improbably Aiming Skills: Go ahead, try to hide when she's angry. We dare you.
-The Klutz: She's… not exactly the most graceful of the lot. Let's just leave it at that.
--Doesn't stop her from kicking ass when needed
-Nice Girl: She's content with helping the people of Equestria simply because she can.
-Sex God: Her comrades consider her the best in bed. This is saying a lot.

Homura Akemi: The smartest of the five, and the one most interested in their fellow Displaced.

-Academic Athlete: Extremely intelligent, and being a Puella Magi grants her amazing physical abilities.
-Aloof Dark-Haired Girl: Like the original.
-Berserk Button: Did NOT take kindly to hearing Faux Teridax call her and the others 'whores who fuck like animals'.
-Brutal Honesty: She doesn't hold back on much of her commentary.
-Casting a Shadow: Has some aspects of this, but prefers using her normal abilities.
-Hyperspace Arsenal: Full of weapons from DOOM. Don't ask how.
--Shotguns are Just Better: She really, really likes the shotgun.
--BFG: Yes, she has the. Big. Fucking. Gun.
--More Dakka: She also has his gatling gun.
-Time Stands Still: Much like the original, but her power can't let her go back in time, which is an odd break.

Sayaka Miki: The youngest of the lot, and also the only one interested in actually re-acquiring their memories.

-Blood Knight: Not as bad as Nightmare, but she has more fun in chopping up Witches than she probably should be.
-Healing Factor: Like the original, but the amount of magic in the air lets her powers be enhanced to near Deadpool levels.
--Healing Hands: Though, this ability hasn't been enhanced much.
-Heroines Prefer Swords: An entire battalion's worth, to be precise.
-Instant Expert: She's become a skilled musician after her transformation.
-Kiai: Does this. A lot.
-One of Us: She is a troper. And damn proud of it.
-Spoiled Brat: While she doesn't outright act like one, she doesn't like begin denied what she wants, and can be rather petty.
-Storm of Blades: Her power has been magnified compared to the original Sayaka's, allowing her to use what basically amounts to a hearty mix of Unlimited Blade Works, and Senbonzakura Kageyoshi. You may weep now.
--Psychic Nosebleed: But it makes her waste magic extremely quickly.

Mami Tomoe: Second eldest, but by far the most mature of them all.

-Boobs of Steel: Like the original. Biggest rack of the entire lot, and hits the hardest, too.
-The Gunslinger: Look, Boss! Dat 'umie'z got a whole lotta dakka!
-Lady of War: Much like the original, she kicks ass and drinks tea. Like a BAWS, too.
-The Leader: She's the one who usually makes major strategies on the battlefield.
-Smart People Play Chess: Oh, you have no idea.
-Spot of Tea: Even moreso than the original.
-Supreme Chef: Her cake can put GLaDOS to shame. That is all I can say on the matter.

Kyoko Sakura: The last member of the PM crew, Kyoko helps others solely because she can.

-The Alcoholic: She's trapped in a world full of humanized ponies from a children's TV show, and she's stuck in the body of a 15 year old girl and has to fight eldritch abominations before they eat said humanized ponies' souls. All without thanks. What do you expect?
--Hard Drinking Party Girl: When she gets at the whiskey, it normally results in memorable moments for everyone.
-Berserk Button: Unlike Kyoko herself, this one isn't as sociopathic when others waste food. But if you make her comrades cry… Best of luck to you.
-Big Eater: Like the original, she's plagued with a need to eat. And eat. And eat.
-Dark Magical Girl: The roughest of them all, by far.
-Fiery Redhead: The most outright aggressive of the lot.
-Leeroy Jenkins: Her usual style, much to Mami's chagrin.
-Obligatory Swearing: Again, like the original.
-Kleptomaniac Hero: How d'ya think their little cottage got all that furniture?

Like the other one, this blog shall receive continuous updates as the story progresses. Until next time!
