I am the guy who writes the Equestrian-Marvel Universe. If you don't know what that is, take a look at The Iron Mare. Oh, and I write other things.

Question · 7:10pm Dec 27th, 2014

I wanted to ask you guys a question. Should I put Guardians of the Galaxy in my crossover series? I am planning on following the Marvel movies, but I'm not exactly sure how to go about this one. If you think I should write it, who do you think I should use for each role?
And now for some updates. I've finished the next chapter of The Incredible Flutterhulk and the following one in progress, so expect to see those relatively soon. It's looking like this will be the weakest story in the series, but I'm hoping it's not too horrible. And I've started work on Iron Mare 2 to try and get ahead of the game, so hopefully that will be coming out soon after I finish with Flutterhulk.

definitely yes:raritystarry:

2682144 Any suggestions on casting?

I don't know I haven't seen the movie yet:fluttershysad:

2682153 That really sucks. Once you see it, then, let me know what ideas you have.

2682621 You'll get to see how I'm planning it soon enough.

2682154 okie dokie lokie:pinkiehappy:

2682149 Well... how about this? You can have Vinyl Scratch as a version of Peter Quill and Octavia as a version of Gamora since, in my opinion, they match up really well with the characters. Drax the Destroyer can be played by a diamond dog of your own creation. Rocket can be played by a griffin or a minotaur of your own creation. And Groot... I honestly think you could use any species with Groot, considering throughout the entire movie he had all of four words in his vocabulary. The real question is who are you going to cast for all the new hero's coming in phase 3 plus Ant-man. Hope you found this helpful.

3180353 That's actually not a bad setup. I'm going to need to do some work for some of the other characters in the movie, but that should be easy enough to do. I think I'll use that casting. Any other ideas for Ant-Mare or any of the new characters in the Phase Three movies?

3180734 That's tough, the only reason I was able to think of what characters to use for Guardians of the Galaxy is because I've seen the movie and was able to get a good grasp on their personalities. Tell you what, how about we both wait till we've seen Ant-Man, and then when I've come up with an idea or two I'll pm you. Does that sound OK? I would understand if that isn't possible for you.

(I edited this next part in after thinking about it a bit)
Now that I think about it, going solely off the fact that the hero has served prison time, I think Trixie or Gilda may be a good pick for Ant-Mare. But keep in mind this suggestion doesn't factor in the characters personality, so I still think it would be a good idea to wait till we both see Ant-Man before nailing down any casting decisions for Ant-Mare.

(one again, I edited in this bit after the last edit)
Based on what little info I know about Power Girl, I was going to suggest Spitfire for Power Mare, but then I realized you probably have her lined up for War Machine. But thinking about her caused me to think about Wonderbolt Academy, And that got me thinking that Lightning Dust would probably make a good Power Mare. But that's all I got, because I know absolutely nothing about the other hero's that are going to be introduced in Phase 3 (except Spider-Mare, but I'm going to have to think a bit on that one. Also sorry about the long response, but I wanted to help you out as much as I could.)

3181534 Taking into consideration how soon the movie comes out and the point I'm at in the story universe, I'll take you up on that pm after watching it. I look forward to working with you.

3183046 Indeed, when you need my help in casting decisions just pm me and we can start chatting. I also look forward to working with you. Just note that I am not the "be all, end all" when it comes to casting.

3180734 Actually, after thinking about it for about a month, Rocket should definitely be played by a griffin. A Minotaur is to big and clunky to cast rocket as. Plus, I can see a Griffin pull off the wit and sarcasm of Rocket a lot more than I can see a Minotaur doing it.
