Chapter Finished But Delayed · 7:23am Dec 27th, 2014
So, yeah, chapter 38 is done by at least one or two of my editors is delayed because of family stuff or whatever from them celebrating the birthday of Horus and/or Mithras. The vile bastards! Don't they realise MY writing comes before their family, livelihoods and all other mortal concerns? They work on a divine creation! How dare they and I am not throwing a tantrum and LA LA LA NOT LISTENING!
So, yeah, chapter 38 took a bit longer than intended, a few....flaws in chapter 37 killed my motivation and such, but damn it the next chapters will be done in, at most, a month or so. Damn you, linear passage of time! Damn you!
Merry Horusmas
(Not the one with the Claw, the Egyptian one with the bird head....I think)
Heh, hope things go well!
2681399 Holy shit beans, can you travel travel or something? I put it up, and pretty much two seconds later, before I've finished added something I forgot to the post, BAM, there you are!
Hehehe, why thank you good sir. I aim to be prompt and on time.
2681402 If you were any more on time, you'd be commenting before I've even posted it!
.....
Which wouldn't really be on time then, so you'd be defeating yourself! HA!
2681403 We can't have paradox, its bad form, to need two or more paths to get things done. But you have a great day okay? And a super new year!
Ehm, I hope that my honest-but-not-so-positive review of chapter 37 isn't partly responsible for that. I'd feel terrible if it did. >.<
2681448 Honest criticism and reviews are important and part of becoming a better writer, so, really, don't ever, EVER feel bad for giving honest criticism or advice. I'd be a poorer author without it. I already had a few doubts about it myself, so you didn't say anything I didn't know.
Except for the binding thing. I still think the logic behind why it was done, that if an enemy actively seeks to avoid fighting you and goes out of their way to keep you out of the fight should be taken, in a way, as compliment. It might be cooler to have a big fight, but you only do that when you're confident you can take your enemy. When you're not, you plot and scheme for another method.
Still, that's neither near nor there now. What's done is done.
