    Winter storm

Any of my other southern bronies singing winter wrap up with ice in the bathtub and the oven running to try to warm the house up enough to open the door. Needless to say, looks like I get a staycation from work.

    Update Mid Crisis

It feels like every drive is Sunday at one in the morning. Kinda feels funny, eight months ago, I had only just gotten my license. Now I drive a borrowed car with a letter from work taped to my dash stating the fact I am an essential worker.

    Update (Nov 11)

Kish, it's been a long time since the last time I checked in. Haven't had much time to. But since today I don't have the response time for gaming, the mental faculties for writing... and most definitely the lung power to do anything physical... I figured I might as well catch you guys up.

In short, I'm down with the flu.

Thankful Thursday: My Journal · 4:35pm Dec 11th, 2014

Hey folks, Cowgirl here, Today I wish to share with you from my Thankfulness journal once more. Each one of these poems were written during a time of trial in my life.

Close your eyes and listen,
Oh, Listen to the sounds
Hear the cry of the eagle,
Or the screech of the little Jay.
Sit up, Sit still, and notice,
See how the goats do play,
Oh, feel the tecture of the wood,
Or the smell of dew dusted grass.
So ponder with me for a moment.
The size of God who made,
All this that we see before us,
How great is he above all.

Silence,
It is a blessed thing,
It reminds us to be thankful,
And raise our voice to sing.

The Lesson

Ding, Ding, Dong,
Oh Father Take me home.
I hear the bells a peeling,
And I feel oh so alone.

I am waiting for the trumpet,
I am waiting for it to sound.
Please Lord I am waiting,
For heaven to abound.

Yes, now I am so quiet,
For I am listening for thee,
To call me hoe to heaven,
And set me on thy knee.

But for others this won't be happy.
It will be such a sad time.
For you will have to judge them,
And banish them for their crimes.

But can I say I am different?
No, for I am as guilty as they,
But by your mercies you saved me,
And others if they do pray.

And I pray for all who wander,
That they might see the light.
So they can sit with thee in glory,
And all will be alright.

So while I tarry hither,
I will share thy love.
I will share the cross of mercies,
And how you reign above.

Yes, I hear the bells pealing,
And for home my heart does yearn,
But I still do have a mission,
And something else to learn.

Alright, I published Chapter Four today, of Most Daring Pony. I do hope you guys enjoy it. That is the last of what I had pre-written when I deserted it the first time I published, then revoked it do to a panic attack. Chapter Five will be out next Saturday, December the 27th. Then six... I am hoping to have it finished and published the Third of the new year.

Currently I am struggling with trying to pull the scene from, filly sized insane, back to intense again. I have attempted three times so far and every time Sweetie decides to break into song or something. I am going to scare those fillies! I plan to have it finished by this evening so I can send it off to my editor. Actually I wanted to have it finished by Monday, and I nearly did, but... I just REALLY did not like how fast the chapter was going so I deleted about 2,000 words and re-wrote. This time I am far more confident in the writing.

I do have one question however, Is it Apple Bloom, Or Applebloom? I have looked it up and it is spelled both ways. Which one is the correct one?

Now I need to get going, So I'll end with the ending of one of my poems.

Ah now, I hear my name.
Mother is calling it is the end of our game.
I sigh a farewell to all my dear friends,
Till I meet them again, when my next adventure, begins.
