Next chapter of "To be a Hero in Changing times" update · 1:53pm Nov 21st, 2014
Well, I'm still working on it and the Flash fic. It's at about 60 to 70% complete and ends the introductions arc of the story.
Darkseid makes his first full appearance it the next chapter, and I really hope it make him seem like the Darkseid we all know.
Also, I've been doing some thinking. I've said that Clark is "an" element of hope- This is true to an extent true, but due how this effects the fic and how people might perceive it , I'm clarifying it now: The physical form of the Element of hope is far too damaged to be used, since in order to use it, the original bearer of hope died to send Darkseid back to where he came from (an explanation will be stated in story as to why it was damaged and why Clark is actually needed). Hope is need for the full power of the equation to be used.
To be a bearer of Hope, you have to inspire it, unlike the Blue Lanterns/Adara, who are embodiments of it or have great hope in their hearts. Clark inspires Hope, but doesn't embody it.
Now, question time: What order should I do the chapters of the next arc (which will be where the bearers actually interact with Superman. Fluttershy and Big Mac will feature a bit more as there the ones that will play the biggest roles)? Just tell me which of the mane 6 should interact with Clark first? You have week to post which one you'd like to see first (each will have 2 chapter each, excluding Fluttershy, who'll have 3).
