I cancelled Echoes. It just.. wasn't coming to me. I hated everything I wrote, and restarted the chapter multiple times. After four years of that, I'm calling it quits on this particular story. I'll still be around, just probably working on something new.

Work on Echoes has been going slowly, for reasons I won't go into. My current goal is to finish the next chapter before I have a Reddit AMA in mid-July. That way, half of the questions I get won't be "Where's the next chapter of Echoes."
I'm really gonna buckle down, and stop disappointing my fans any longer. I do hate when I do that.
So, my laptop has become so unstable it freezes at pretty much nothing. That's how I do my writing. Luckily, I bought a new one online this morning and it's on its way from amazon. So it's only a setback of a few days.
So back in September, I wrote up a chapter for a project going to 26 different authors to collect various short stories. I wrote letter I, but there's also some really great stuff in the project from other authors. It can be found at the ABCs of Fallout Equestria. Give it a shot.

My laptop, starting about three Wednesday's ago, began freezing for no good reason. It got so bad that for about 4-5 days I literally couldn't start it up. It would freeze before it even welcomed me and it would freeze at the emergency reboot screen.
No matter what I did I couldn't fix it. Only recently, starting on Sunday, have I been able to log in. I achieved this by simply spending all of Saturday and some of Sunday waiting, restarting it when it froze, waiting, waiting and even more waiting. On Saturday night I was able to navigate the reboot screen and restart my computer to an earlier model. It's effectively the same computer, all my files and programs are intact.
For now everything seems fine. I'm not sure what caused it and I'm not sure if it will come back, but for now though I'll be going easy on my computer. I've ran virus scans on it as well. They've come up empty.
Anyway, I post this to let you know that if you still have your old computer it may still work. Best of luck to you and know that nothing is set in stone yet, you just got to wait.
And wait, and wait, and wait.

I left a comment on Guise of Chaos nearly a year ago. I gave it like a 9/10 or something.
I look back on that now and treat it like a grave insult. Guise of Chaos is to date my second favorite story on this site (Only beaten by the Original FoE). Whether you think it deserves that position or not is up to you. I'm just here to let you know I greatly enjoyed your story, and if you want to see all the stories Guise of Chaos is superior to just check out my User Page. This laptop I've been watching die for about a year and a half. A heating issue cooked it, and the last few months have basically been playing roulette with whether it will die on me permanently. Now that I have a job and all that, dropping a bit for a new laptop is just something I've been meaning to do for quite some time.
